I just received two of these, and can confirm (as others have said in the reviews) that this is identical to the Ergotron LX wall mount (same stickers, mouldings, etc.; i.e. made by Ergotron, but branded AmazonBasics), which makes this an absolute steal (£115-£150 elsewhere).

These things are very solid, and can handle dual 32" curved monitors (I'm using separate, wall-mounted ones).

A Basics Premium model?

A Basics Premium model?

Yeah, I was also surprised. It's quite expensive (although it's about £40 cheaper than the Ergotron branded model) and not very basic - it's a full 64cm cantilever experience. Not a cheap product by any means.
I bought 2 Van Haus monitor arms from Amazon £29.99 have been a brilliant purchase. They come in black and these do look nice in silver maybe better but at £29.99 Van Haus ones are a steal!
Like Apple prices lol
Maybe if people knew what they were actually loooking at, this would not have gone cold! That is a really nice price for an Ergotron arm. I use the desk mounted version of the Ergotron LX and i would not use anything else for my main monitor.

I own a few cheaper monitor arms and whilst they do a job, they are much less stable, and once you have owned a quality monitor arm you can never go back.
Can anyone recommend a good arm desk mount for a 27" thats about 5kg, most of the ones on amazon seem like they don't handle 27" well
This link has a desk mount as well.

Not sure what type of arm your after but I got two of these recently. They are solid, they can be mounted round the back of desk or through a hole. For me they are each holding 28" monitors that are about 6kg and they hold them great, once you tighten the nuts to suit the weight I've found them to be great. Cheap too, no need to spend any more in my opinion.
For anyone considering mounting their monitors, factor in the length of the cantilever arm if you're looking at one like this. I ordered a desk mount dual cantilever Duronic arm but found that by the time I'd lowered the arm to get the monitor to the right height, the screens were tooclose to my face (the desk is against a wall so the lower half of the arm couldn't hang off the back of the desk). Had to return the nice gas-sprung mount for a less adjustable model that took up less space behind the monitors.
better spend extra on Apple one.
Amazing that an effective discount of £40 for a very good quality cantilever wall mount is so cold. I guess people really don't like the Ergotron quality.

No worries. Hope it works out for you.
I have exactly this arm. It does appear, bar badging, to be identical to the Ergotron arm, and it is superb. Solid as a rock and very easily, and smoothly, adjustable through a huge range of positions.

Somebody mentioned minimum distance from the wall, I just measured and it goes back to about 13cm from the wall.
