you'll probably have delivered a push bike

You would just be best with a moped ?

this is perfect answer round the big towns and cities IMO plus no congestion charge in london plus of course your far less affected by changes in fuel prices

Great idea but beware.

I'm not familiar with this particular one but there is lots of rubbish around at these budget prices. Cheap batteries are likely to have a limited life too. Where do you go for parts/service?

I'd love to hear feedback from someone who has actually bought one. Not voting at this point.

Because it is no doubt not in the DVLA standard list of vehicles, insurance costs might be more than the cost of the vehicle!

How long is the lead?
Probably wouldnt get to end of our street on this.
Yes it looks eco friendly, but how is the electricity generated in first place?
I'll wait for the diesel version.

better getting a petrol one,

Road fund only £15.00 per year
Most do 100mpg

is it worth risk running out of power?
how long would this last? battery will cost a lot to replace and bet would only last 12 months

and not only that be worth nothing second hand, its a throw away

I have to ask myself " why 50% reduction" when these are so eco and cost friendly?

Hi, just thought i would let you know that i bought my hubby this last year from firebox , and its great paid more than this so it is a bargain. You will have to have a electric socket outside to use or attached to a extension cable. He uses it to go to work instead of using car save a fortune in petrol and gets 35mph out of it bit slower going up hill.Insurance was 110 for year .

Motorbikes do NOT have to pay congestion charges anyway so even a nice big harley is free

Just got a petrol moped, this is gonna be *****.

Mopeds are also pretty dangerous, and the probability of having a serious accident is pretty high. Ask anyone that rides a motorcycle how many times they have had near misses. Even small accidents can be life threatening, its not worth the risk imo. Im many ways a 125cc motorbike is safer, as sometimes the lack of power can get you in dangerous situations.

The improved saftey of a car is worth the extra running costs imo.

take a diesel generator with you :whistling:

Get a second hand, known-make moped for similar money - I expect it'll be cheaper to insure, faster, and you'll actually be able to hear it coming...
