So I got myself a couple of the LED version for the same price before they sold out... Still a good deal for the none-LED version of this cooler IMO!

£4.98 + £2.39 delivery, free delivery with orders over £50

I'll be buying the Ryzen 5 1600 soon, which comes with the Wraith Spire cooler. Does anyone know if it's the LED version or not?

I could be wrong, but I think the LED version only comes with the 1700 and above!

No leds on 1600.

Thanks!

Don't these come free with Ryzen CPUs?

Are they compatible with AM3/FM2 motherboards?

But this cooler is extremely highly regarded.

You buy an Intel you pretty much have to buy an aftermarket cooler if you want to overclock or just protect your eardrums.

You buy an AMA Ryzen with A Wraith included and that's all you need.

But im classed as a gamer so id never buy an AMD CPU, same with their cards which are even worse.

Although i do hear good things about the Ryzen id still get an i7, its just safer and i know it will do the job.

@seanmorris100 It's ok if disagree with somebody who tells you that AMD is making good products or great value components for gaming pc, nobody can force you to be right.

I'm enjoying smooth gaming on my 1600. Wasnt sure if the upgrade from a 2500k was worth it but being able to:

Have 2 smallish VMs running, one of which is mining monero on 3 to 6 cores depending if i adjust it.
browse a s**t ton of tabs in palemoon including gdax yt soundcloud blah blah
play justcause2/metroLL/Stalker smooth as butter.
i also sometimes forget to close AcidPro7 when doing the above.

Cpu fan is at 1570-2000 and as quiet as my old hyper212 that i havent bother swapping in, whilst OC to 3.9ghz, 50*c whilst the above is going on.

2500k (4.5ghz) was spikey just browsing and gaming.
