Got mine for around this price thanks to flubit. Wanted to run things like the lego games and Grid racing titles at 720p which it does very happily!

Been considering one of these for a media centre build. Great price and a good find OP.

This was being sold by Amazon for £37 till last week.. hopefully will get back to that price. Its am amazing motherboard for £37.

what about a nice small case to use, anyone?

My friend is giving me a Radeon Hd 5800, can anyone suggest a motherboard, cpu and psu. I'd like the option of upgrading the gpu and cpu in the future. My friend has recommened a 600w psu.

What a strange time we live in when 8 gigs of ram costs more than a motherboard and a decent duel core processor.

I have mine in my homemade "Xbox" with that Asrock a78 itx board I posted at £37. Brilliant combination with a £25 ssd I found through hukd. Currently in a silverstone Milo ml03b but I want to downsize to a power cool t01b which you can get from scan.co.uk for about £28. Memory is the expensive bit - I took 2 x 4gb from my main machine whilst waiting for a bargain to come up. Chickened out of going ultra budget and using SteamOS though! I had a spare win7 key so I cheated and used that! Control is via the wireless sandstorm trackpad posted on here at £5 and hopefully soon I will get the £9.35 Cooler master CM storm keyboard and mouse set delivered soon to plug in for gaming. So total of £127 spent plus the memory and OS. Take that Xbox and thanks Hukd and flubit!

Cold from me. The alternatives are better. A Celeron G1820 provides much faster CPU and an AM1/Bay Trail-D chip is as fast but much lower power. The only thing this has going for it is that the integrated graphics have more processing power but I can't see many situations where that would be useful, they're still too slow that they're going to struggle with multiple different games.

Is it worth waiting for a Beema AM2 part (if it'll ever become available?)

Might be worth it for HTPC use if they're adding Tonga's 3840x2160 h.264 decoding.
