Not the new 65nm version sadly, but still a damn good CPU. Especially for £70.

looks like a good deal, for EE version. but read somewhere that 4600 will be (or already) discontinued.

Fabulous price....voted hot:thumbsup:

Prices will fall even more in a few days... AMD just announced a raft of cuts in top end and mid-level prices....

X2 4600+ discontinued. The X2 4800+ price dropped to $136 - approx £70.

$31 for a sempron 3000+ thats just mad :prop:

if you're overclocking intel is still king but for most all the AMD chips are literally cheap as!!! :giggle:

The AM2 x2 4600+ is the approximate equivalent of Intel's E6300. But as the price for the AMD is nearly HALF that of the Intel, the AMD is the better value processor.

See review of Intel vs AMD which shows that the processors are VERY equivalent in performance:

The AMD out-performs the Intel in games though. £69.11, you can't go wrong!

If there's a better option for the price, let me know - please!
