After months the A8 7600 is finally released. With its configurable 45W/65W TDP it is ideal for media and general purpose builds.

It was originally meant to be around £90 but seems to be far cheaper when actually launched.

There is also this new budget FM2+ mini-ITX motherboard for £60 from Ebuyer now which has a 4+2 phase VRM:

The A8 7600 has similar CPU performance to a A10 5800K,but has a faster IGP with better compute and consumes much less power:

Great gaming review from gaming site Eurogamer:

This was done when the expected price was £90 and high speed RAM was much more expensive than normal RAM,and it was considered decent value at that point unlike now when it is much cheaper.

Decent wee cpu if you dont plan on getting a dedicated gpu, if you plan on using a dedicated gpu its still better to get intel pentium anniversary or i3 for this price

Also i Wish amd would stop milking these low end apus and release the xbone/ps4 apus instead

Keep wishing. Don't think they can ever release those.

I wouldnt be so sure, they have a 12core apu in the works

so this would be okay for a office / home pc build what would just be using office, internet, emails and maybe sage?

You could do office work on a toaster

I'd personally just get an Intel i3 if that's what you want to do. Quicker processor. Only reason to go for this is if you will make use of the decent built in graphics
