Actually, in the product overview it states "This particular product comes without the RGB lighting" in case anyone was wondering

There's a reason they give these away for "free" with the CPU

the reason is that AMD coolers are actually decent unlike those you are going to get in blue boxes nothing fancy but they do the job unless you do OC

the ones you get with the 8 core chips are even fine for overclocking. Ive tended to drop the voltage on my Zen2's so they dont actually get that hot anyway.
Although maybe its relative as we dont have much to compare to.....

They're good relative to an Intel box cooler. They're terrible relative to a £20 aftermarket jobby, not just in terms of thermals but it terms of noise, both how loud it is and the noise profile of the fan.

I have just bought a 3600 bit it didn't come with a cooler. Will this be ok as a temporary?
This is the Wraith Spire which is the step up from the Wraith Stealth that comes with the 3600. Both are fine at stock and a bit of OC. This Spire will keep the cpu cooler of the 2 though.
Good for the price if you don’t have a cooler.

Really. Assume it’s a second hand chip then? This will be good for permanent use if you are using at stock speeds.

Yes it's second hand. Thanks I'll send for one.

It quite literally says original + copper base on the product title & page. Else Scan would be liable for false advertising.
Anyone know if I could make this fit a 1156
Why have I just ordered one?

Update
LOL. No idea what I did but it cost me £18 so I cancelled 😄

ordered 1 yesterday and it arrived today with free postage, great spare cooler for a Fiver!

Hmmm, .. is that fan PWM?
we can argue about the cooler being worth a fiver (or not) all day long. But, its actually quite difficult to get a 92mm pwm fan for a fiver.
You could ziptie that on a 212 or other heatsink that comes with a crappy fan. when its worn out.

it is.

Theres a lot of cheap coolers like the Hyper 212 and snowman, you could use this fan to replace the original cos that fan is 'cheap' and doesnt last.
Its not 120 mm but it would work all right.
Am I missing something, because it seems like there is an extra £4 charge for delivery?
Second hand stock paste all over and screw mountings bent
