The Phenom 8400 is one of the old B2 versions that have the cache bug. Price isn't very good either considering the motherboard is a very basic uATX model.

Spend the extra and get a Phenom II X3 720 BE.

The Phenom 8400 is one of the old B2 versions that have the cache bug.


Best to avoid these CPUs unless they are exceptionally cheap which this isn't.
It's not as fast as a £50 Intel dual-core and consumes much more power and over-clocks badly.
I imagine a modern AMD 45nm dual-core for £50 is also a better deal.
Cold for me.
