Solid cpu, for light tasks, but try not to get this cpu if you're getting a discreet graphics card since its a waste of its graphics.

Yeah the 3300x would be the better one
I've got this and it plays GTA V at around 50fps, its OK for older games
can't believe not long ago you'd have to pay £250 for something like 6400k and this craps on it for £75.
Budget life is good nowadays.
This was £75 from Amazon this week.

Annoyingly Curry's wouldn't price match them.

That was from a third party seller not Amazon itself.
If you're going to use the built in graphics make sure you get fast RAM - 3600Mhz or better and the lowest timings you can afford.

something like 6400k

What's one of those?

Only K desktops in the 6th Gen Intel Core lineup were the i5-6600K and the i7-6700K.

To be fair to both of those CPUs they're now over five years old and are still faster in single-threaded applications. Given another five years there will be a CPU around this price that's as fast as a 10700k/3700X.

fulfilled by Amazon though.

Not that PC World actually confirmed they wouldn't price match - just didn't return the calls.

If I wasn't very disappointed in Pc World I'd return the Amazon one so that I can use my £5 giftcard and use my work discount to get another 7% off
It's £80.99, the code is only for free next day delivery..?

Yes, Next day delivery is £5 and It takes off £5 of the total order, it's been like for a while now.

What settings though? Screen resolutions and setting everything to low make huge differences.
£75 on AMZ too under different sellers, I ordered one earlier and will be here Saturday.
Still available, although oddly you have to go to other sellers even though it's prime!
Been this price all week as was pricing up a system for someone.

Doesn't the 3200G have Vega 8 not Vega 11 graphics ??

The one on Amazon's Other seller got expired 2 days ago. I checked it this morning and it wasn't there, So thought this would be the best price and. Yes, it came back again.
Nice CPU for those on a budget build with options to expand later - though 4000-series soon but this isn't a bad chip at all, though it's Zen+ not Zen 2 so if you're going to install a separate GPU then maybe 3100 or 3300X is a better choice. Integrated GPU surprisingly competent, it will run quicker with better RAM but you can easily end up overspending on that for relatively marginal gains.

It is Vega 8 not Vega 11.

Right, I see the confusion here - you're supposed to use the code FNDD but NOT select next day delivery, so that the next day delivery cost is subtracted even though you're not using it.
Great little CPU, ticking over quite nicely in my new NAS build.
HOT, was thinking about upgrading my 2200g but this doesn't look like much of an upgrade though.
no longer available for delivery - expired
