Around 170 at most places so a good deal!

For a 1500x it's a good price so hot from me.

However as you can OC all the Ryzen chips to 3.8-4.0 GHz using the bundled cooler I don't really see the point of this.

IMHO the best chips seem to be:
1200 (Quad core) - £105
1600 (Hex core) - £189
1700 (Octo core) - £275

Are these the kinder surprise ones? When you get the box you get a suprise, it's another chip?. For those that don't know, some 3rd party sellers/Amazon were selling fake products.

Good price, but I think the 6 core 1600 is the sweet spot for the ryzen 5 line up, worth the extra 30 for 6 cores imo. If you want quad core (but only quad thread) then save some money and oc an r3 1200.
However for someone that doesn't wanna oc this is a great chip and great price coupled with the fact you could pair it with a320 (they don't support over clocking) to save even more money. So hot from me

Great deal   Thanks OP 👌
5 years later and it's slightly worse than an old 3770k. I thought by now we would have vastly superior chips for about £100. CPU progression seems to be slowing.
Yep still on my i7 2600k and wanting to update but why bother

Do you really need something faster than you have, or this at the moment?
