Good deal on this, If you believe the hype around supply this may be worth picking up even if its a placeholder for your long term processor choice because of the AM4 great list of compatibility
I've literally just ordered this at 1am this morning....how frustrating!!! It's not been dispatched yet - I've messaged CCL to see if they can cancel so I can re-order, but I'm not holding my breath :-(
Any suggestions about a good and cheap motherboard to go with it now and is capable of future expansion (I guess a B450 based board?)

3 ways of looking at this?
1. Get the cheapest A320 Board for £39 from CCL. Use it with the CPU and sell both as a bundle when upgrade time comes, although the 1600AF is a VERY capable CPU unless you are going to go off the rails altogether on the Video Card front!
2. ASRock B450m-HDV. Cheap and cheerful, but will overclock readily within reason. CCL with code about £52 I think.
3. MSI B450M-A Pro. A touch better IMO than the ASRock and similar specs.

Personally, get the A320 whilst it's cheap to go with it and let both go when the time comes to sell?
Thanks for the reply.

I generally upgrade a bit at a time as budget allows, but the FX-6100, gigabyte m-atx motherboard (can't remember which) and DDR3 memory is as expanded as it's going to get.

So last month when 16GB of DDR4 memory was being sold cheaply I bought that. This month I want to get a processor and motherboard and combine it with my GTX 970 graphics card, which should see me through for the time being. Tempted to go for this processor and the MSI board although I do resent only having the two DDR slots, although I know having differing pairs of memory stick bought at different times generally ends in tears.
Do you work for CCL?
Was able to reorder with the MSI tomahawk max using the code. Good deal! Now I can stop obsessing and get this pc built.

The "ASRock B450M Pro4-F" which comes to £59.95 after the discount code from CCL's ebay store, is probably the best balance of price to performance out there.

It comes to £143.76 with the 1600AF, that's a pretty fantastic pairing for that kind of money.
