Ryzen 3600 expected to be around £200, in terms of price/performance this deal thrashes it at only £125.

The game pass is £1 for the first month and then £4 thereafter. You're effectively getting £9 back.

Compared to the 2-3 free games you were able to claim last week this is a poor deal; the 2600 prices will start to drop more next week.

Couldn't you make use of the first month for £1 before using this code?

Also isn't it only £4/month while in beta?

It's 3 months of Game Pass for PC that's included rather than Game Pass Ultimate. £3.99 is the standard price for Game Pass for PC. I think if you redeemed the 3 month code after using the £1 offer it would add 2 months to your Ultimate subscription as Gold and Game Pass codes are added to existing Ultimate subs at a lesser rate.

Exactly what I was about to say. Another £60 and you'll have a monster processor in your hands...

We havent seen the offical benchmrks of the 3600 yet, though every rumor ive seen is suggesting its a significant improvement.

Id personally wait to see the proper benchmarks next week before buying a 2600 - if the 3600 is 20- 30% faster in single thread performance id say that at £199 is potentially a better deal than this at 2600 (but thats obviously my personal opinion!)

Eitherway both this and the 3600 are likely good deals!

And @Brutes post's good deals i am just waiting on kc2000 deals some of these will do a search who hasn't got a clue but still vote nippy/hot HAVE A LOVELY EVENING you bruteifull friend that you are!
I think there's a big obsession with having the latest. This offers vastly better price/performance than Zen2. Best case a 3600 offers +30% (unlikely, 15-20% seems more probable), that would mean it would need to be priced at £162~ to be price competitive with this. When we know it's going to be close to £200.
Great time to buy 2000 series imho, can't be beat for value. Upgrade to Zen2 in a year or two when you need it. Only reasonable cases for Zen2 at the moment are if 2000 series don't offer enough performance or you absolutely need to save a few watts (eg small pcs).
Zen2 is a fantastic chip, no doubt, but at the moment it's got a premium price tag (compared to other AMD, certainly not Intel!).
