You would see a increase in frames in games but only slightly, probably best waiting for a reduction in price and going for a 3600.

Giving them away at this price.
Hmm just bought a 1600. It’s new style 12mn. Was In two minds to get the 2600. But got the 1600 for £91.
HOT. The difference in price between this and Ryzen 3600 is not justified at all.

Get this, and don't bother about Ryzen 3600 or 1600X
3600 will need to drop to £130-140 to justify the performance difference, and this will not happen until next Xmas to be honest.
And 1600X is simply bad choice. 1st gen of Ryzen were very poor.

I agree. Best combo u can buy at the moment. That will maximize performance for money.
Who do they use for delivery?
I'm rarely in and couldn't see a click and collect option.

DPD
Will they drop it at a collect place instead of attempting delivery ?
Is there a cheap but half decent motherboard on Aria that will run this with no faffing about. I'm looking for a cheap upgrade from i5-6400

I had a delivery last week from DPD. Got a notification on my phone that it was left in a safe place. This is what they sent me, Just left outside my friggen door
Have since gone into their app and set all deliveries to collection point! Useless

Yeah Amazon put mine behind next doors bin and didn't put a card through.
I found it by accident when I received my email saying it had been delivered.
This is why I want to collect

Dunno they allow you to specify a 'safe place' or redirect the parcel to another address eg work address or a relative in the area.

In what way 1st gen were poor?Apart from problems with a new platform at the time I can't find a reason to say that.1600x in comparison to 2600 isn't too far behind and with current used prices it's better value if You are on a budget.3600 is about 15-20 percent faster in gaming.
My 1600x build still keeps up with games at 1080p and even RDR2 is not a problem so I wouldn't say it's a bad choice.

Even my r3 1200 does, let alone a 1600x. 1st gen weren't bad or poor. You can always bitch about 'old' tech when it has been superseded, of course not fair. The birth of Ryzen was great, finally a kick up Intells domineering ass.

There is on ebay, nothing special, but that's not what you're asking for:

ebay.co.uk/itm…7ko

63 quid incl.delivery for a new 450 with 4 mem slots, that's not too much atm.

450s normally can overclock, but wouldn't do that with this board, no additional cooling solution on the power supply.
