Uff, these pricedrops are killing me since imlooking to sell mine 2600x and get that sweet 3600x or 3700
better sell asap as the prices will likely bomb once the benchmarks comes out if the numbers rumored are true
I am wondering if prices will go up once the new ones are out? If they end up costing a lot more than they are expected to.

Is it the 7th July the new ones are available to purchase?

Seems to be some very good pricing on the 2600 and 2600X the couple of days.

Could be worth holding out for Prime Day. The 3600 may come up with a sweet price..

OCUK will be selling the 3600 for £189.99 which is the RRP on Sunday, so the pricing that we saw over the past month looks legit. It's pretty much the $ price converted to £ + 20% VAT

Any idea about the 3700x pricing?

The boss at OCUK is under NDA, but said the 3600 price - I presume that the other chips will fall in line with the release $ pricing. If there is a short supply in the coming weeks he did say they might have to put up the price though
Very tempting. But I can't justify moving up from i5 and the different motherboard memory etc

£189 is guideline, OCUK is doing it for the bargain price of £188.99

As you say, USD price + 20% gets you in the ballpark apparently although there's a few sites (Lambtek) doing pre-orders with prices well above RRP.

I was eyeing up the 2600x but I'll see what the pricing is like come Sunday.

He also told the punters on the forumto hold off buying cheap Vega56’s when the EBay 20% code was live and then preceded to knock a whole 6% off their already bloated selling price
What current gen chip is likely to be a competition with 3600 chip just got incase production has been controlled to creative false demand and high prices old ????
Gonna be so glad when Sunday finally comes around and we will get the reviews for the new CPU's, then I can finally make a educated decision on whether I should get a 3600 or a 2600. I'm mainly looking at the gaming scores, as that is one area I haven't been as impressed with the Ryzen CPU's.

Did anyone kick off on the forums?

To be honest, other than the odd deal, I'd say they're fairly average on price. Only real big bonus is the free P&P to forum members but Scan does/did the same with Hexus members.

Does anyone know when reviews on the third gens are released?

Not kicked off but a few made their feeling clear
I agree, they tend to be a bit more than the competition but the forum is fairly busy and helpful

In comparison (Hexus/Scan) appears to be alot quieter
