not bad but the 2600x (6c 12t no igpu) is the same price and the 2700 is £20 more (8c 16t) no igpu again

also 2700 comes with borderlands 3 / outer worlds and 3 months xbox game pass

You're right if you want the most bang for your buck in terms of CPU, especially if you already have a discrete GPU, then the iGPU is redundant. This APU is useful for Small Form Factor PCs, think Intel style NUC but not as anemic, take a look at this barebones system as a possible home for this amazon.co.uk/ASR…LN/

Built a system with a DeskMini A300 and 3400G recently. A nice little system, but would recommend getting a Noctua NH-L9A-AM4 as the stock fan is a bit whiny.

Thanks for the info, yeah Noctua are top notch. What RAM did you end up using?
Best price eva, but the newest new is only a few months away (2-3) renoir , so I'm holding out for that.

2 x ADATA AD4S2666316G19-S 16GB DDR4 2666 MHz Memory Module - Memory Modules (16GB, 1x 16GB, DDR4, 2666MHz, 260-pin SO-DIMM)

I struggled to find any of the faster RAM (3200 etc) that is recommended anywhere. It wasn’t mega important to me so maybe you’ll have more luck.
