What mobo you got
wifi edition, that's what I am aiming for as well, great choice
Just built a rig with that very one with a ryzen 5 3600.
3600 is so good I just think I had set my focus on getting at 3700x for £250 but it's not happening yet haha
I was the same but there are that many Ryzen chips at £40 difference in price you can end up at the £400 mark before you know it.
I went for the 3600 because it is more efficient with power and runs cooler than the 2700. You can clock it to the 3600x performance. But I also read that it is more tolerant with memory.
I've got my kit running with ddr4 3733 memory and it's running fine. I left it running today for 6 hours downloading COD and some other Ray tracing demos with no issues.
Ran minecraft with the Ray tracing shaders at max settings with zero lag or stutters. All good.
What GPU are you using?
I'm like above waiting for a good deal on 3700X and then pick up a 570 mobo.
Spending the intervening times looking at GPUs
It's definitely a strong CPU at a great price! I think I'm saying to myself 'i need the extra cores' which I probably don't but yes I keep telling myself to hold out. What base speed is your ram or is it 3733? I've got myself some 3200 speed waiting but I've never manually overclocked ram before
If it takes you any longer the parts will be obselete.
I posted the offer about a week ago. It was a good deal. Had the usb-c too and free cod.
I think it started at 2133 in the bios put it was bought as 3733 ram so I picked a non auto option in the bios and it went to 3733 with no issues at all. I have no idea about overclocking the option thankfully was there.
Got 2 x 8gb on amazon for £78 I if I remember right.
The GPU is 2017 now
Check again, seen deal close to that
