Definitely, it’s just you mentioned HDD.
I am not that much techie. What all other compatible hardwares will be required to make full working CPU. It will be nice to share links and prices. I want to know how much minimum need to spent.

PCPartpicker UK would be a great start. Select the CPU and then you can build a PC around that and it will make sure everything workings together and gives you the lowest price per component (normally)

Just built a pc around this for my brother and it came to about 420 quid minus a graphics card. You can shave a bit of that as I ordered higher than needed to components where I could. The tomahawk max b450 motherboard is a good board for about 100 pound but you can get budget boards for 60 bear in mind they may not be ryzen 3 compatible out the box, ram you can pick up 16gb basic kit for around 50 or 60 pounds, you'd need a case starting for about 30 to 40ish, a power supply about another 50, a ssd can be had about 28 and you could nab a refurbished graphcis card for about 50 off the other deals link on here. Then a 3 quid windows 10 key on ebay
Could anyone knowledgeable give me a view on the below? Just putting together a gaming set up and stuck on options for a motherboard bundle. Want to spend as cheap as possible, but quality at the same time, so less than £300. Not fussed about intel or AMD, but the Ryzen 5 seems great value.

Thanks.

If you are building new now, get the 3600 with a Asrock b450 Pro4 and any 3200MHz RAM and that will be a great investment.
Nice find

I don't like the sound of this PC built around a R5 3600.

Why?
matt_vans23/03/2020 18:41

Are you saying £420 including the cost of the cpu?

Yes, was a budget build. Cx650 psu, cheap cit sauron case, ryzen 3600, 16gb corsair vengeance Pro rgb ram, tomahawk max b450. 256gb Kingston a400 ssd and a left over graphics card and peripherals from old systems. Could have saved a few pence here and there but bought slightly over
can get cheaper on ebay. got mine for 132. just dont forget about discount codes and delivery costs
Sold out now.
Just went to order too
