CCL COMPUTERS IS NOT DOING THE SAME DEAL?
Typical Ebuyer, increasing the price by around 10% when Ebay has a code to reduce the price by 20%.

Still decent
Not a very good deal as this is 10-20 pounds more everywhere.

I've been looking through some of their listings this morning and they have simply increased the prices of everything so they keep all the savings rather than their customers. Pretty disgusting really. Everyone should avoid buying from them out of principle.

Yup, that's why I gave it heat, I wonder how these deals work behind the scene, if ebay are absorbing the cost and paying the retailers full amount after their charges, then Ebuyer must be making a tidy profit with these deals. Though I expect it's somewhere in between, either way ebuyer must be making a good amount if they keep participating.

They’re always more on eBay, whether there is a code or not. They don’t increase just for codes, probably simply listing cost and fees etc

I don't think that's how it works.
Ebay don't give anything for free themself.

I recon sellers (bigger one) are given the opportunity to offer a discount and get enrolled into ebay advertised promotion of whatever %.
And as this seller don't want to lose the difference, they've increased prices during the promo to make even.

I agree - not fair to behave like that but I do not believe they "keep the difference" as there's none to have.
They just got free advertisement of a "promo", rounded up more buyers thanks to it, you still pay the same, and ebay is the winner as always.

Looks like you could do with a new PC
I gt my 3700x off amazon when it was selling for £299 and then used £20 promo's to get it for £280
Ebuyer is known to hike up their prices massively when there are promo codes on ebay.
I was a bit disappointed too as I was considering the upgrade, given the 20% off offer I was considering taking the plunge - until I realised that I could get it delivered tomorrow for only £5 more from Amazon without any discounts! So its not really much of a deal if you shop around after all... I'm not really that rushed so I will just be patient in case a good deal turns up - perhaps Black Friday or Cyber Monday will turn up a better price.
Lol, Amazon have now raised the price by £15 for the 3700x since I commented yesterday! Think I'll wait for it to go back to the July/Aug prices or lower before I buy! uk.camelcamelcamel.com/AMD…rch
