There you go. Great chip.

The 1700 comes with a cooler which is decent too(with rgb) but these overclock the best.

They all clock about the same. Maybe 100Mhz in it. The benefit here is out the box for what was close to 1700 money 6 weeks, you get a great chip.

i7 7700 4.2 for …i7 7700 4.2 for less.https://www.amazon.co.uk/Intel-i7-7700K-QuadCore-Cache-Processor/dp/B01MXSI216/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1511205763&sr=1-1&keywords=i7+7700&dpID=513ORbzSPwL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch

The AMD is a far better chip. The equivalent intel would set you back double this price. I too nearly went for the i7 7700k before discovering the reviews. trustedreviews.com/rev…00x

Well reviews are no more reliable than experimenting yourself. We've seen that from the likes of "Rotten Tomatoes" who are now laughed at due to their politically correct bias - when critics % against actual viewers are wildly different. If reviews couldn't be trusted before (greasing palms with silver does wonders for a review) its far worse these days
Whatever - it's down to you. Theres no doubting the Ryzens quality as a chip but are you judging SOLELY on the number of cores ? It doesn't always translate into a better performer
I SINCERELY hope you're right. Intel have had their own way far too long and their pricing is disgusting

I agree, but I read tens of consumer and tech website reviews. All reviews are consistently outstanding at this price point.
