If you're mostly gaming with only moderate productivity etc, probbaly better off with a 3600 over this.

Now and then I dabble in gaming. Always think GTA5 is the perfect test bench. Can get the game to run smoothly at max settings (apart from graphics) on an old 8750FX chip. Will this chip allow me to get max graphics for that game?

The 3600 should be roughly 10 to 15% faster than the 2700 in games. If you're still running on an FX series chip then either of these is a huge upgrade but given this deal is for the non-X which is clocked lower, and games generally favour higher clockspeeds in addition to the inherent improvements in Ryzen 3000 I'd recommend going for the Ryzen 5 3600 CPU found in this deal: hotukdeals.com/dea…119

This ram is also termendous value, and a lot of headroom if you overclock. Of course get a pair of these hotukdeals.com/dea…195
