So overall cheaper anywhere after the discount.

I was hoping it would be around the same price as CCL on ebay for £325.78 (So would of been £260)

not too bad but they inflated the original price to make it look better..but still the cheapest 3700x have some heat

I brought mine, 1 Left.

Where did you bring it? Couldn’t resist

I’m glad the CPU market is finally hotting up again, but I don’t need to upgrade just yet I feel, quad-core will be mainstream for the meantime for a good while.

about £4 off and the lovely ebuyer "expedited" delivery lol.

Heat for the price
was deciding 3700x or 3800x. For for this price the 3700X is a no brainer.

Yep, its a bloody insult. 330 quid on their website. But they know people will buy anyway as its 25 quid savings at the end.
Unless you specifically need production work, the 3600 (non X) is still the best chip on the market for use. Sites like the respected Gamers Nexus give the 3600 its Best Buy....30-50 cheaper than the X but with, ridiculously, easy change in bios....they all reach X settings.
hoping for the 3600 to appear soon
Anyone getting this hoping to use it with a Gigabyte X470 the BIOS doesn't work and it almost certainly won't POST. If you're a lucky one that can POST your NVME drives won't work.

they released a new bios for x470

1. Update AGESA 1.0.0.3 AB
2. Improve M.2 SSD compatibility

I have th Gaming 7 so hopefully I won't have any problems.

I am holding out for B550 boards in q3 hopefully, not in a rush to upgrade

It's set for Q1 2020. You're gonna be waiting a long time.
just get a msi tomahawk b450,one of the best boards for these and you can flash the bios with no cpu installed from a flash drive.
Anyone know if the 3000 series work with the vive wireless adapter
Great price
how has this price inflating not been investigated? its the most blatant rip off of customers in years
Lol at the inflated price, this is the most obvious discount day inflation I've ever seen. Got my 3700x last week for 319 and sold the wraith for 18.

depending on which one, roms on older motherboards are too small, so some of latest zen 2 related updates are stripping functionality in order to get them to fit. 'max' versions of those older boards are supposed to be coming soon with updates to rom capacity.

if you do proceed, ccl and scan will do bios updates for you so you don't have to faff.

I did check ebuyer and CCL ebay store yesterday after I saw 20% off code, CCL not taking part and ebuyer did not show any Ryzen 3 cpus so unlikely they break the rule.
you will see when the discount days have ended the price wont be £370 for the ryzen on ebuyers ebay store..it will drop to inline prices again.
they have done the same with their monitor prices too as I was looking at buying one of the hanspree 32 inch models at £350..which somehow jumped up in price when discount day started,
Should I buy this or not?

Why wasn't that there yesterday when I was putting my rig together
Why cannot I get the code to work?

Yeah my bad thought it was Amazon, hate how 3rd party shows now
Thanks op ordered!
I decided on a 3900x instead from Amazon. Got to wait about 16 years for it to turn up though. Aug 11 - Sept 11. Will be worth the wait though.
Have been deciding between 3600x and 3700x but this has made the decision for me. Many thanks for posting OP!

Unless you want to run first gen Ryzen APU's or Athlon's don't upgrade. For MSI motherboards RAID is also currently missing but might appear later. The fancy gui has been replaced with a simpler design but all other features remain. TBH unless you're in and out of your BIOS all the time it's not something that will be too annoying. Most people don't use RAID so that's also not a major problem for most.

MSI B450 Tomahawk/Mortar and Carbon Pro AC are they best B450 boards currently due to their good VRMs and decent heatsink for keeping them cool. If you can grab them cheap, I'd say they will make a great Ryzen 3000 budget build. I suspect the "MAX" version with bigger bios will be full price whenever it comes out.

I now have a B450 Carbon Pro AC and this 3700x, memory is on the way (Ballistix Sport LT 2x8GB 3200 CL16 "e-die"), if it wasn't for AMD and Ryzen we'd be buying 6 core Intel parts would be around £500 right now.
Managed to buy.
Had to use a family member's Ebay account as the code would not be accepted on my account.

Great price with the discount

329.98 on ebuyers website , just for info.

Someone should complain to ebay, as they are the ones paying for the discount.

Is that true, I assumed merchants would be contributing to the non site wide discounts.

I just want to add that people slam Intel for changing sockets all the time but this is the other side - and while most of us are smart enough to BIOS flash or have older CPUs hanging about, it must be carnage for all this promise of compatibility, I almost think sometimes the enforced socket change is not a bad thing - long-term it is easier for many. I would be furious if I tried to update something myself and it got bricked or functionality was now missing!
Bought it. I don't care if its against the rules.. cheaper than other places. Ebay are fools lol
almost no returns on this so waste of money imo...
