    Much improvement over the Ryzen 5 3600 for gaming with an Nvidia 3080?
    At 1080p and 1440p yes

    A nice upgrade overall over the 5600x with better productivity and similar or slightly better gaming performance to the 5600x depending on the game. But if you are only interested in gaming then the extra cost is not worth it. Also, if you are using the Wraith cooler then that will need to be upgraded.

    How is gaming performance lower? Shouldn’t it always be higher since the clock speed is higher
