sorted byThe thrifty money goes for the marginally slower 5700x.
The big spender accepts the hit of migrating to AM5, and takes the faster 7700x (or better).
At this price the 5800X3D just seems like a bad proposition.
Maybe if it was only 10-20% more expensive than the 5700X but that'd make it £220-240. That's a LONG way from £333!
That £100 premium you're paying would be much better going towards a faster GPU.
