Incredible how cheap these Ryzen CPUs are. This would make a great budget server CPU.
Bargain, great CPU for the price.

This doesn't happen with Intel. When they release a new CPU on an inevitable new socket, prices normally go up on the older models as I think they handle the stocks differently to prevent clearance prices. AMD are just being ridiculous, in the best way.
I bought mine for £199 a few months ago, that was a bargain! This price is ridiculously cheap for this CPU!

This CPU and a Radeon 5700XT will play anything, no need to worry about fps.
excellent find, hot!

is this retailer apart of the AMD promo offer as you might as well get the promo one for a little higher?

Yeah true, I'm in the market for an upgrade, be nice to know if this could max out my Vr headset, it's an hp reverb. Still think there's a bit of life in the 1080ti GPU

Surely the 2700 with a lower power rating would suit a server better than the 2700x?

I'd go for the 2700 due to the price / 65w TDP but both would be great for a budget server.
