I want the 3700X but these prices are too steep. In America it costs about £250 for it, just another case of us getting screwed over again in the UK.

Tell me there's no plastic at all on it.

Theres plastic in a rolls Royce phantom. What's your point?

Paid £200 for a case. Bet you still have a dual core processor and GPU from 2010

3700x I think is a good middle ground and good price.

Plus tax, still more expensive here but with obvious differences.

250+tax

We are subject to duty and vat, which makes it more than the US.

If you have a friend that travels there often, that's your best bet.
Aren't these the RRPs for all retailers? So where is the deal?

Yes I think so too. I need to get an idea on motherboard prices first before committing. I still have that gift card from the Pocophone F1 cockup to spend. I saved it

The price/performance I guess. RRP can still be a hot deal.
Terrific performance but out of my price bracket.

I'd pick up a decent X470 or B450 board. X570 offers nothing over the older boards as PCIE4 won't be relevant for ages.

SPICY HOT even at rrp. gotta remember that Ryzen parts get discounts pretty quick so if you wait a couple months christmas sales might be gud

£250+VAT at 20% is £300, they aren't that steep.

Did you wake up this morning. Then go, I think I’ll join HUKD and troll? Did your last account get banned? Maybe you’re missing school who knows.

He just shared a pic of a 980ti after claiming he has a 2080ti.

in b4 he claims he hasn't installed it yet.
Y'all need to chill.

Haven't yet caught up on the benchmarks, but my R7 1700 has made me very happy. Eager to hear how Zen 2 performs.

I am waiting on the 3950X - nice upgrade from the 2700X and that will be done on the processor front for about 5 years I think

Not sure I can stomach £600+ for CPU. It does look great.
PhoenixS07/07/2019 19:29

You just need an ultrawide monitor and you're set

and the 2080ti like he claimed he has... and the £200 case...and the 3900x
