Why is this not a deal? This is a very sought after cpu with low stocks worldwide it would seem due it's value for top end prosumers. If you can find it cheaper anywhere please post your own deal

Took me less than a minute while waiting for a render to finish on the other screen I don't know what you do work wise but judging from the shear weight of gibberish you've been dribbling all over the internet recently I think it's safe to say neither do you. You give the impression you spent less time in school than it took my render to finish, correct me if I'm wrong though. I'm a senior CAD Engineer btw mate try again

I agree it is not a huge saving, these CPU's are hard to get hold of at the moment, it's more the fact that it is available for dispatch
I hope this has a Rtx 2080 Ti Super oc in built chip for that money 🤪

That was the case last year but supply is fine now.

Not sure how to answer that tbh If it's something you absolutely need and are going to spend money on anyway, whether it's 50p or £500 off, it's a deal to you personally. Whether it's a 'good' deal is another matter, I've seen good deals with 1% off and bad deals with 50% off, a higher discount hardly ever actually results in a better deal. And what you've got to remember with a lot of things these days is there's often a very good reason why it's been discounted so much

It's £42.87 / core (each containing 2 threads) which is amazing value when you consider what we were paying just a few years ago.

Come on mate is that really the best you can do? Where's all your raging troll passion gone all of a sudden? I'm surprised you're giving up so easily, then again actually it's not that surprising that would explain a lot. I think I must have touched a nerve, off you pop

Lol, you got rekt
Can't we just say 16-core?
reubenno05/02/2020 19:32

Not all CPUs are hyperthreaded.

I feel like you're trolling me but I can't quite work out how

I'm not. The i7s don't have hyperthreading, so not all processors have double the threads as cores.

Ok. I meant that referring to it as hexadeca-core was a bit daft, if directly following it with '32-thread'. Why not just say 16, instead of hexadeca. It's much more accessible language.

Who said anything about i7s or the difference between physical cores and threads?

Not that it matters.

True, but an i7 8 core isn't the same as a Ryzen 8 core. Saying 8 core 16thread would be best, but most tech savvy users will know that a 32thread CPU will have 16 cores.
rev605/02/2020 22:36

Say either.

I'll go with hexadeca-core, Dotriaconta-thread to feel all elite and such.

Not sure the point here. They like COD, that makes them wrong about everything?
