Been looking for the cheapest possible price for a graphics card for somebody else's computer and I stumble on this. I haven't found anything else with a similar benchmark for that price over this past week, the closest I could see was the Nvidia Geforce GT 210 which isn't as good.

Hot. I bought one of these (5450) on Friday for the same price, got delivered last night.

Needed a low profile, fanless, low power draw gpu for an old Dell 760 optiplex small form factor and worked straight out of the box. Comes with two low profile brackes (hdmi+dvi and vga).

Windows 8.1 found the drivers within seconds and installed the catalyst software automatically - so no need to install drivers off the CD or download.

If you get a border when using HDMI, there is a scaling setting in the AMD catalyst control centre which needs to be reset.

If you've got very little room inside your case to play with and a low power supply (I had 235w), these are a good buy.

The 'get deal' link shows a Radeon HD 5450. The title says 5670.

Ugh, yeah sorry, 5450, i was looking at multiple cards comparing prices and ive somehow managed to say 5670 instead after comparing, my bad o.0

Did your benchmark comment refer to 5450 or 5670?

Freezing, can get these for £18-19 easily, and have been able to for ages.

The card itself is nicely low power, but rather old at nearly 5 years and 3 generations back, enough to worry about failing caps by now.

Any idea whether I can put two of these on my PC to run 4 monitors? as I have two PCI-e slots but one is wired at x4?
Thanks.

Can't really disagree other than hopefully as these are unused the caps shouldn't suffer, as I believe that only occurs due to heat rather than age... or rather premature ageing due to heat.

Ill agree with that! We use them at my work when people need an additional screen, the models of pc's we are using are dell 755, 760 and 780 even used it in a few 7010 and as you say the drivers are found easily off the net. No issues with these so far!

Nice little HTPC cards these, use one in my shuttle (not to be confused with the space shuttle :p)

That should be fine as long as it accept 16x length cards.

@SuvGTi:
Not a good idea to buy this for any sort of benchmarks. It's fine if you want features (extra outputs, video decoding etc.) but if performance is a priority it's likely to work out very poor value for money compared to more expensive cards. Even a £65 card will be ten times the performance despite only being three times the price.

The 5450 is so slow that if the PC is less than a ~3 years old it'd be just as fast or faster to use the integrated graphics instead.

OP's benchmark link was for the 5670 (a more expensive card).
