why? it comes free with many AMD cpus, i found it ok but tbh under duress it ain't that great, can't beat pure copper but the cost now for copper is getting silly.
Do they still give free postage for Hexus forum members, on purchases over £20?

Very few use cases where you'd want this over a gammax 400 for roughly the same price imo
Got mine with the 3900X it's so pretty.... but noisy.

As in they up the price to include delivery in the price?

Yes, delivery has to be accounted for somewhere.

That could be a subscription like amazon prime, included in the price of the item or just simply charging for it, loss lead promotion.
i agree to disagree on this postage debate,

cost is got to be hidden somewhere.

however if u take ccl postage cost over £50 items. hell oof a lot are the same cost as per ebuyer/scan. toe to toe in line or afew pence, hundreds of products, but yet scan ebuyer charge postage on top..

Delivery will allways be accounted for in all circumstances in some way.

Loss lead
Marketing promotion
Included in price
Break even
Sales / market share Strategy
reimbursed by manufacturer kickback.

End of the day if your losing £1 on a cooler because of a promotion + delivery fees. You've got a higher chance of future customer retention going forward.

Everything is allways accounted for.

Its like the supplement brands i know hate getting asked for free delivery because they have to give the same answers

I bought this same cooler for the same price at the start of the month however it was free delivery at that time. Still good fan and looks cool.
Setup the Mirage on this fan and it looks amazing, definitely recommend. Great price
Just bought this cooler. Just be aware there’s an issue with spin cycles whereby it spins fast then slow then fast every 30 secs or so. I basically had to disable all my cpu fan settings in bios and still not sure it’s fixed.

It's pretty but so noisy, I couldn't put up with it for long and swapped it out for something better. It's now making a racket in my boys pc

While these are about as good as bundled CPU coolers get, I'm slightly confused why people would buy them as an aftermarket option. Unless you are very cash strapped and need something low profile, you can pick up coolers like the BeQuiet Pure Rock Slim or CoolerMaster 212 Evo in this same £20-£30 bracket that will offer better cooling at lower volumes.

They still do free delivery but it’s on £50 pre VAT
Its very nice to look at, and it actually performs quite well. I didn't get one with my Ryzen 3600, so I purchased one from Scan for £19.99 with free delivery due to being an av forums member. My plan was to use it for a little while, and then purchase a EK-AIO 360 D-RGB, but I'm not sure now as I'm very happy with this cooler so far.

I had the same thing happen with my H115, and it turned out to be the MSI software I was running to control the lights on it.

Did you set the CPU step-up and step-down delay? If you didn't then the fan bounces up and down. If you did then it should spin up smoothly and pretty much quiet until you stress the CPU with Cinebench or streaming while gaming, etc.

It's one of the best air coolers out there and great value when bundled with the latest Ryzen CPUs. Easily beats many £40+ coolers on the market.

I changed setting in the fan speeds software (ryzen software can't remember the name) didn't do anything. I am guessing this is not what you mean though. Where would I find the settings for this. I have changed over to a water cooler but I am sure my boy would appreciate it if I can sort it out

It's in the fan control in the BIOS, but the setting depends on the motherboard. Usually called fan step-up and step-down or something similar. Set it to one of the bigger values (like 0.7s or 1s) which will smooth out the fan spinning up and down all the time. You might also want to make sure the fan mode for the CPU cooler is PWM instead of DC, which allows for better fan speed control.
