No. It comes with this cooler in the box.
This isn't the cooler that comes with the 3600. Thats the Wraith STEALTH

This one is a little better, it comes with the 3600x
will it work on a i9 9900K?
is this better than the one that comes with the 2600?

eta... I was thinking of replacing the 2600 with a be quiet! Pure Rock Slim 35.14 CFM CPU Cooler so any advice welcomed

No, different mounting systems for a start, and 9900k runs rather hot besiedes.

Barely, better off to go wtih an aftermarket one. The be quiet is nice, hyper 212 and deepcool 400 are also viable alternatives.

Also if you wanted something with a little RGB then this is essentially a Thermaltake UX200 ARGB. The fans may or may not be the same, I never checked the labels for part number but the heatsink is. Adequate for a 2600 though with mild overclocking headroom on the included fan. amazon.co.uk/dp/…h=1

thanks 3anana but I don't need disco lights, so I'll stick with the be quiet and hope it lives up to its name
