Various Amex/Foursquare deals at specific airports/terminals...

Spend £30 get £10 at:

* Dixons Travel
* Sunglass Hut

Spend £10 get £5:

* Caffe Nero
* WHSmith

Spend £65 get £10:

* Harrods
* World Duty Free
* Fortnum & Mason
* Ted Baker

See image posted for full details below including which aiport/terminals these are available in.

Easiest way to find these offers in the Foursquare app is to set your location as Heathrow and then search by the merchant name. At the time of writing this Fortnum and Mason is not showing up in Foursquare, hopefully this will be corrected soon.

Other offers to combine with for extra savings:

* World Duty Free - Download a £5 off a £75 spend here - worlddutyfree.com/fre…her In theory, pick out goods for £75, apply the voucher, takes spend at the till down to £70, and get the Amex credit, takes you down to £60.

* World Duty Free - Not guarenteed as I haven't tried it, but there's a separate Amex offer for £10 off a £65 spend at World Duty Free. Worth enrolling your card for that too to see if both credits get applied (however, most likely it's just seen as the same offer) - merchantgeo.force.com/enr…ree

Fortnum and Mason now shows up sync.americanexpress.co.uk/fou…dex

If you haven't used Foursquare with your Amex card before....

1. Sign up for a Foursquare account at foursquare.com/

2. Sync your Amex and Foursquare accounts - sync.americanexpress.co.uk/

3. Install the Foursquare app on your smartphone.

4. Search for one of the merchants listed on the app. Click on the American Express offer and select 'Add to card'...the text on the button should then change to 'Added'.

5. Spend the required amount on your card.

6. Check in on your statement online a few days later to check for the spend and credit.

Got the email also - the promo is positioned as statement credits at the airport. However do you think it could actually be used at those merchants outside the airport. Long shot maybe.

I was just about to add a similar comment. It's always been the way with Foursquare Amex offers that you could add the offer for any branch, and spend at another.....however....this was based on searching for say 'WH Smith' on the app and finding all entires for it listed the offer. It seems now, as you'd expect with this offer, only the airport stores show it as available to load to your card. Could still be worth a chance on one of the £10 offers, but wouldn't hold my breath.

I've managed to find them all except for Fortum & Mason - doesn't seem to be in Foursquare with the offer.

That might just about bring WH Smith prices down to what they would be on the high st - robbing gits

Might be handy buying gift cards?

Will be flying back into stansted airport so may take a chance with the gift card option . Recently took an offer with Amex with whsmith gift cards but not related to the airports.

Buy gift cards and use them in normal high street branches. Also Caffe Nero is located landside (anyone can go to it), in terminal 3 at Manchester (10min walk from train/tram/bus station), well worth going just to get it. Hope they do gift cards, am sure they must do.

Same here regarding Fortnum & Mason.

Could someone pls tell me how they found the offers? I've typed in #AMEXoffers in foursquare search box as stated but nothing comes up. I received the email 2 days ago but haven't been able to load the offers. I've typed in whsmith and Heathrow airport and amex specials but none of the offers are coming up. HELP!!

Change the search location to Heathrow and then search by merchant name. You should find all but Fortnum and Mason one.

Yep got it. Thank you so much morgie

Cool, please post back with any useful info on what you find.

These are fine if you use them regularly. Otherwise it's a good bit of marketing to get you back into their stores

I think the Caffe Nero and WH Smith offers are particularly good even if you don't use them regularly.....and as these are particularly for airport terminal branches, only regular travellers may use them....regularly, surely? Think I get your point, but welcome the offers even though unlikely myself to use the spend £65 get £10 back ones in particular.

Ye, an offer is welcome all the same. We don't have to use them all Even though we try!

Pain. Does this mean your login from a PC works ok?

For the dixons £10 off £100 coupon from their website, it says its expired. Is there an in date voucher, or is this one still meant to work?

Good spot, I've updated the previous comment listing it. No idea if it'll work, you could try and argue it with them as it still appears online.....chances may be slim though. Call ahead to the store if you're planning a purchase that would qualify.

Just try it...if you're successful in syncing your card and saving the offer you should be fine.

If you can sync your card with Foursquare and load the offer to your card it should be fine - give it a go.

Worth a try - but reckon too much hassle to go through for just 10 Quid Also happened to get a good price on the Apple MBP from Dixon's which beats the prices from Amazon, Curry, JL during the black friday deals - so can't complain too much I reckon.

Awesome - just wrote to Amex yesterday saying I forgot to sync my card with FourSquare and had made a purchase at Dixons' could they still give me the statement credit as a goodwill gesture and lo behold got an email today morning that they will do it and just checked the account a few mins back see a 10 GBP credit applied to the account - wow thats awesome customer service indeed - what say?

Was at Heathrow Terminal 3 arrivals today. The WHSmith does not sell gift vouchers or stamps (seemed like obvious good choices).....so instead.....5 x EuroMillions tickets for Tuesday! X) As far as I'm aware as the store accepted the Amex payment and Amex will just see WHSmith listed, it shouldn't be treated as a gambling payment/cash advance. Will confirm.

The Costa Coffee was also there.

As my comment just posted above, the one at Heathrow T3 arrivals doesn't, not sure what this means for others.

Just to confirm that all worked, in as much as £10 charged to card following by £5 statement credit.....however, appears they gave me the wrong EuroMillions numbers - no win, so will be on this site a little longer!
