Yes on one of my cards and also on a supplementary card.
Some offers have been missing from the supplementary card recently, which caused concern..........

..........................especially with 'Shop Small' being under 12 weeks away.

Any deals to coincide with using a giftcard? Giftcards are the way to go and saves messing about. Also, assuming a giftcard would be fine to use in airports? If there's a Starbuck's there, obviously.

Heat added op, but am feeling very out in the cold with my Amex lately. All I'm being offered is really rubbishy deals

Believe so. Even better if you're going to the USA, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong, Mexico or Republic of Ireland you can use your Starbucks credit there too. If you're not already going to one of those destinations I assume you're now ammending your airline booking so you can take advantage

No thanks - in this day and age I think we should be backing something British, not American - Costa and Caffe Nero are both British coffee shops, and take your pick of non- American cards.

A little bit more patriotism might help in many ways in difficult times.

i spend silly amounts of money on my AmEX (BA) and do not have this offier. Quite annoyed.
They probbaly think I dont need to say £1 for Starbucks ... but I do!!

Costa messed up my points. I messaged and they made such a big deal of giving me back £1.60 in points, and said this was an exception and wouldnt happen again. It was their fault and they were so demeaning. So, I will go where they treat me right.

Omg, I had something similar with Tesco recently. They wouldn't admit they were in the wrong, and sent me a measly £2 gift card 'as a gesture of goodwill'. For over 10 emails that if had to send/ reply to? It's maddening that they think that's all that one of their customers' time is worth. Wow, managed to type that in without asterisks (!)

A couple of September Monday's offers left.

might be worth checking amexoffers.uk/sta…ks/ some may not be actual starbucks but franchises, couldn't see Birmingham on there.

so you don't value the jobs that they bring to the country, don't value the rent they pay, business rates or VAT and don't think that the other cards VISA and MasterCard aren't UK companies. Majority of items bought in the UK come from companies owned by non UK companies even if they have some manufacturing presence in the UK.

Sorry to sound stupid. Am l corrrect in thinking you charge up your Starbucks card using your Amex card upto £15 spend in Starbucks to get £5 credit on your Amex statement? Do you need to spend the £15 by a certain date?

You need to have the offer available for your card to enrol in.

You have until the 27/11/16 to then use your card, you can spend multiples of £3 (up to £15) and get £1 back each time. A lot of people will go for maximising this by spending £15 at once to get £5 back.....and probably by buying gift card credit so they can spend at their leisure (past 27/11/16). Hope that makes sense?

It's not about patriotism, Starbucks tastes awful. Nero and Costa taste better, simples!

I'm not sure what you're asking.

You can only get an Amex through Barclarycard by "invitation" (ring to cancel and say you're looking for a cashback card, you'll probably be offered one if you have a decent enough record).

You can't get this offer through Barclaycard at all though - even the Barclaycard Amex is not eligible. You need to have an Amex from Amex directly - the best one is the Plat Cashback Everyday if you're a new customer (unless you spend quite a lot). Amex are not the easiest lender to get a card from, be warned.

Also, even if you apply for an Amex, and get the card, that's no guarantee that you'll see this offer. Most cards have very few offers on them to begin with.

Don't spend anything with these tax-avoiding scumbags.
They set up a dummy subsidiary company in a tax-haven, supposedly selling beans to their UK outlets at whatever price makes their UK profits look like zero. They pay their workers below living wage so that they then have to claim working credits. Every penny you spend with these dodgy dealers goes offshore away from the NHS, roads, schools etc and puts proper UK coffee shops out of business because how can they compete when they have to pay taxes and your competitor doesn't?

I am sure you mean well but this approach doesn't make logical sense. Why do you believe that Costa is British owned? It's a brand of Whitbread and their two largest shareholders are American investment funds. Even if it wasn't i don't think we want a return to the days of tolerating sub-standard quality purely because it's British. Sorry for the rant, I had a Morris Marina.

Yeah same with McDonald's which only contained half the order for the kids in one of the bags. About 5 complaints to the franchise owner who initially said the transaction didn't take place until I sent the receipt, and then have a single meal voucher. We will treat the kids very occasionally in a branch operated by someone else.
