Interestingly it's available on my BA Amex card but not on my Platinum card.
Where do you see those?
Offer doesn't look quite as attractive on Foursquare (in the title at least)....
How much?! oO
Yeah, me too. Just not ready for that much FiloFax action!
Log into your Amex account and click on 'Offers - tailored to you' beside your recent transactions...
1. Sign up for a Foursquare account at foursquare.com/
2. Sync your Amex and Foursquare accounts - sync.americanexpress.co.uk/
3. Install the Foursquare app on your smartphone.
4. Search for WHSmith on the app, pick any store (doesn't have to be the one you'll spend in). Click on the American Express offer and select 'Add to card'...the text on the button should then change to 'Added'.
5. Spend the required amount (£30 or more) on your card.
£301 oO
Any decent branded giftcards in Whsmith Morgie?
Maybe useful to stock up on some stamps
Also in late August they were giving away 20% off discount cards in Whsmith for the whole of September (various exclusions). Theres always some till voucher around.
I think they do a fair range, but no clues on their website. From a few searches it appears they at least do iTunes giftcards, as previous offers there. Be good if anyone who knows the details or is stopping by tomorrow could post some of the options they see.
That's OK, buy a PS4 for that price
My local store sell all the usual high-street ones as well as the prepaid Visa/Mastercard/AMEX cards.
Doesn't look like it, no public sign up page currently.
Anyone seen the price of Lego at Smiths? Who buys from them???
think ill pop over to smiths and get some stamps £30 worth for £20 sounds like a deal tomorrow.
Most places I've been won't accept payment on credit card for lotto, supermarkets tend to be ok with it though.
I have an mbna diamond club Amex card and it let me sign up for the offer they had last month ( spend 50 and get 25 back? However it wouldn't let me sign up for an Amex account on their website.going to register and see if this works and will report back
Hmmm. Buy a prepaid AMEX, get £10. Use that to buy another AMEX...
I'm guessing the offer isn't available on prepaid cards.
The Amex pre-paid usually have a fee on top of them, so you'd be eating into your £10 saving, I think it's somewhere between £2 and £3.
Currently, yes.
The £30 AMEX has a £2.95 fee. £25 Mastercard fee is £2.45. They also have M&S gift cards that you load any value on to.
Just search for any WHSmith in Foursquare - the offer should show up. What device are you using Foursquare on?

They were also giving out "£5 off when you spend £15 or more on Books" vouchers (valid until 28/09/14).
I'm using note 2 The app soo different compared the time amex weere running the argos/tesco deal. Please advice hw I can look up the whsmith special. ..
