This will work when purchasing a giftcard based on past experience. I believe they're valid for 2 yrs.

Great to combine with other offers like a free 60 day Tastecard for 2 for 1 on starters, mains and desserts - tastecard.co.uk/tri…hes

Only showing on one of my cards and it's the lesser one!
Great offer, especially with the giftcard / tastecard route.
I'll have a pizza that.
(please post a manual add if it becomes available)
Great thanks OP. Good to know it can be used on gift cards too
O2 priority offers too, for those with O2 sims.
£5 mains.

Are gift cards available in all Pizza Express stores?

They seem to be. You could call a specific store to confirm before a visit if you're going out of your way.

Can I eat all that pizza.....??
I do not eat there as they force Halal food on unsuspecting people. Meaning you pay an Islamic Religious Tax whenever you eat there.
Not to mention the animal rights issues

Not another one trying to hijack a perfectly good thread. If you don't like it, why not just clear off and eat what you like, where you like - and leave everyone else free from your ramblings.
Heat it up even I really hated pizza express.

If that thing about Halal is true then it's a valid point as drowning in your own blood after your throat is slit is not a particularly nice way to die but then I guess neither are more modern slaughter house methods either.

That said, is it just modern methods of slaughter plus a prayer or the rather more barbaric ones?

its true about halal

alot of people don't fully understand what halal is and what the process is, but once understood what it is then people won't have meat like that again

I'm a Sikh guy and I will not eat halal at all because I don't agree with the halal process and how Muslims kill animals
Thanks for posting, a nice treat for the kids in the holidays.

Isn't that the point he wants to eat what he likes and not what the restaurant thinks he ought to like?

Very true, if you did it you would find yourself in court for animal cruelty. But somehow it's perfectly OK when they do it.

you obviously haven't seen how animals in general are kept these days and how they are slaughtered these days and I'm not even talking halal or kosher
Cheers, just need to figure out the best way to get the other discounts as well. Suppose you can splash out on the booze if nothing else!

Even if you're going for a meal, buy a £50 giftcard first to get the £20 back, then use the giftcard to pay. That way you won't fall into the trap of feeling the need to over order to hit the £50 balance and can enjoy the saving over multiple visits.

As I've posted before I'd really recommend combining with the free Tastecard if dining Sunday to Thursday - hotukdeals.com/dea…143

Buy the giftcard for £50 and use the giftcard to pay for your NUS perks at your leisure.
So if I buy a giftcard for £50, I get £20 back. I then buy I £84 dinner on a Monday and show my NUS card and this costs me £50 which I pay for using my giftcard. I end up getting £84 worth of food and drink for £30. That's an attractive 64% off. If the dinner was £33, it would cost me £20 after NUS Discount which I could pay for using my Amex credit. Only problem is that I would be left with £30 on the card to get rid of!

Order just a pizza with your NUS card if you want and pay with the giftcard. With the giftcard balance, repeat and repeat. You don't have to spend the giftcard in one visit.

Correct - but in theory rather than practice, because so far as Amex is concerned it's just another transaction, and it doesn't actually know what's been purchased.
