Aww that is a pity.

Only 1% for me, still better than nothing!

1% too

These "offers" that have to be activated in order to use them are a PITA. Why can't the card issuer just establish you're eligible and apply it automatically when you spend the qualifying amount in the right store?

True, I spotted that one too but last year I had some problems with Nationwide tracking so I'm not as confident in it. I did appeal but had to deal with a place in the USA who eventually said I was due money but they never put it on, I gave up in the end. That said I hope things have improved with Nationwide as it is a better deal.

Yes, 3% on my account.
Not the best Debenhams Amex deal, but 3% is better than nowt!
I'm still hoping and do have my fingers crossed, that a 'Shop Small' event becomes available in June or July. Even if just a smaller version than the December one.
The large business do seem to attract the offers, which are welcome when available, but not as welcome as the Shop Small offers.

Any reason you're hoping they'll do that or just wishful thinking? Have they done this in the past?

But normally it's in November/December to tie in with 'Small business Saturday'. Have they also done the shop small promotions at other times of year that I've either missed or forgotten about?

Only 1% for me as well - sure I get more instore with Quidco on a nominated (non Amex) card.

Threatened Nationwide with banking Ombudsman previously over non tracking ... first time they sorted it pretty quickly, last time they claimed it wasn't really them, so it wasn't a valid claim. I asked for them to confirm that this was final decision so i could go to Ombudsman anyway, and what a surprise, it got paid !

Yes, a few years back they had a small Shop Small event, around the summer I believe.
Wishful thinking along with what Amex customer services stated. They stated there might be another Shop Small event in the summer. Nothing definite, but fingers crossed.

If there isn't one, blame Morgie. He normally controls Amex promotions.

Amex deals have been crap for the past year or so. Used to get good offers for amazon, apple, bp, argos etc.
