  • Outlet stores are excluded from this offer.

How will they tell?

They can't.

I normally stock up on Morrisons gift vouchers and use them for petrol/diesel for a few months after the offer ends.

Hi, apologies there was some confusion with another Morrison's £30 spend cashback listing, as you were the first to post the current AMEX offer your thread has been undeleted

If ever you receive a message from the forum team and you want to query something just reply to the message and provide further information and we can review
If you spend $30 in Morrison's you already have overpaid by a lot.

Depends on the currency and exchange rate. Quite why you'd pay in dollars is anyone's guess.

You can't:

C. Transactions that are not eligible

The following transactions are not eligible and will not count towards your spend for the purposes of the offer:

  • transactions where you do not spend directly with the merchant (for example, if you buy the merchant’s goods through a third party department store);
  • transactions processed through a third party payment processor;
  • transactions that are subsequently cancelled or refunded;
  • transactions where the merchant does not pass on the information we need to process it properly within the offer period (for example, when their payment systems are down and they cannot process the transaction electronically)
  • transactions where you buy a gift card, store credit or a voucher.
How will they tell?

Correct T&C quoted but since I have received the statement credit every time I have purchased gift cards, clearly it does not matter. I am going to ignore the offer this time as my account has only the 7% off offer.

I thought Morrison's stopped allowing gift cards to be used to purchase fuel?
Is it still an option?

TIA

How long do they normally take to notify the reward has been redeemed? All my Amex redemptions tend to show up instantly but this morissons one hasn’t yet. I bought lots of amazon vouchers in store today with my Amex but no redemption confirmation.

As far as I’m aware they accept them. They are treated like cash when I have asked them at customer service. They even give you change back so if you can be bothered and they don’t cotten on you could make free money!
Ive got and saved. Be interested to know if people are still able to get credit for gift card purchased as well.
Maybe if a gift card is hidden in a big shop you get it but if you buy a single gift card only, and for a large sum, it won't get a credit?

Amex don’t see the till receipt, only the payment arising from it.
Is it Amex British Airways
Gift cards bought in-store are getting cashback no problem. I stock up on Amazon and Waitrose cards during promotions. I didn't get instant notification as previously but cashback posted 5-6 days after purchase.
Is there a Maximum reward?

HSBC had a £100 cash back reward

What that meant was I could purchase more than £1000 of vouchers from Morrisson

No limit I believe. Cashback everytime.
Oh so you can use it as many times you want?

Cool HSBC T&C were the only once lol
