Eight new Amex deals available today, all travel related, mainly for hotel stays. Log into your online accounts to add them to your card or sign up using the links posted below if they don't show in your account (or your Amex card is issued by another provider). Or if you've linked your TripAdvisor account you can add the hotel stay ones that way - tripadvisor.co.uk/Ame…-c3

Always great to stack these offers with other deals too....

* Don't forget to combine with Topcashback / Quidco if booking hotels online.

* Chanchi32 - Sign up for the Thistle loyalty programme and you get a free Sunday night when you stay either a Saturday or Monday and a voucher for a free Sunday lunch. Book the Saturday or Monday stay on your Amex and you will get a £50 statement credit on a £100 spend. thistlesignature.com/

* Chanchi32 - Hilton £50 off £250 Amex spend can be stacked with the £25 voucher on £50 food and drink offer - hotukdeals.com/tag/dea…811

* Some other current Thistle deals on their site at the following link - thistle.com/en/…=UK

* Chanchi32 - For Hilton the corporate discount code works on hilton.co.uk bookings PR13CB - it's a generic corporate discount code. They may ask for company ID so there is a bit risk if you use this code.

Thanks for that, off to check if there are any decent deals.

Love the way they say the offers are 'tailored to you'. Seems everyone has the same.

I can't see any of these against my account

Go to the link above and add it. AmEX usually honours it

Added the Thistle to my card, and signed up to Signature Thistle. Will be a nice cheap weekend in Newcastle for me and my Mrs. Free train up there (work perks) and £60 for the two nights overall Thanks!

Awesome thanks for the heads up

Thanks

Do you think this has to be spent on stays (appreciate it says that in the T&C)? Wondering if I can benefit from the Landmark discount on £200 family afternoon tea without staying in the hotel.

If it's processed by the same payment system, I'm not sure how they could differentiate.

That's what I was thinking, would depend on whether the hotel uses a different system to the restaurant I suspect. Doubt I'm going to be able to find out beforehand.

Great. Back to offers I'm unlikely to use.

They are tailored in so far as I don't have the ones I want (Thistle or FGW) on any of my Amex cards

So please use the links I provided to enroll your cards?

last time I enrolled using the offerenroll.americanexpress.com link (£10 back for ryanair) my charge back did not come through. I'm pretty sure the same will happen when I use the Thistle deal as I have a Lloyds issued card.

I believe you have to call Amex to get it done manually, does anybody no what's the best number to call?

I sure wish more people accepted this. great deals for users

Maybe you could do with that relaxing spa break X)

I'd rather see my card provider providing offers I may not be that interested in than none at all. The fact they're so regular too - and definitely more 'hit' than 'miss'.

What a shame that they are all travel related, no use to me:(

Hope they bring out some more general shopping ones soon.

the back of the card has a normal Brighton number to call. Wish all companies did this!

They have a Lloyds issued card so the number won't be there.

The Amex Brighton number is 01273 696 933. However, you may need to call Lloyds.

Does this work for Barclaycard Amex?

These are the terms for the free Sunday night at Thistle

4.1. Free Sunday night
a) The voucher is valid for 3 months from issue.
b) Your Free Sunday night is on a Room Only basis and is subject to availability.
c) Only one free Sunday night voucher will be accepted per member.
d) Free Sunday night can only be used in conjunction with a reservation for an adjoining night's stay, either the Saturday or Monday. The adjoining night's stay will be charged at the 'flexible rate' for that date.
e) Your Free Sunday night and Saturday or Monday reservation can only be made by ringing Membership Services. Please have your Signature Programme membership number ready at time of booking. Bookings must be made at least 3 days prior to the desired arrival date.
f) Your Sunday night stay will not act as a qualifying night for the Signature Programme.
g) You must present a printed copy of your free Sunday night voucher upon arrival at the hotel to receive their free Sunday night stay. Any members unable to present their voucher will be charged for the Sunday night stay at the best available rate for that date.
h) This offer is not available in conjunction with any other promotion and only applies to new bookings.

Thanks, I'll give them a call

This is no reflection on this deal, but Thistle are one of the most incompetent companies I have dealt with in a long time. I have been chasing up the voucher that was supposed to arrive within 24 hours. I have had multiple different stories, none of which seem accurate. In addition their booking system shows hotels that when you go to book them don't actually have availability.

if anyone is interested: There is two nights stay for a family of three (including breakfast) in Thistle Poole for most part of late of February & March for £104, then you get £50 back from your AMEX card making it £27 per night. It works out better & cheaper instead of using the free Sunday night

Don't forget 4% QUIDCO if booking Thistle hotels
