That expired 31 December 2012

Looks legit and like a new offer. Search on the FourSquare map for specials in your area. Nice find.

Some others that look like that are being rolled out too...

* Tesco - Spend £10 and get a £5 statement credit - hotukdeals.com/dea…919

* Pizza Express, Zizzi and ASK - spend £30 get a £10 statement credit - hotukdeals.com/dea…879

* Primark - Spend £30 get a £10 statement credit - hotukdeals.com/dea…889

That's not 'THE' Foursquare site - you need to go to FourSquare.com and search for specials - e.g. random example here.

Update - Full details of this offer on the Amex CardMememberOffers site now - cardmemberoffers.co.uk/sho…re/

Thanks. Got the offer.

Hi, I've recently got an Amex card. How do you find these deals please? I'd four square linked to Amex? Thanks

Easiest way:

1. Sign up for a Foursquare account at foursquare.com/

2. Sync your Amex and Foursquare accounts - sync.americanexpress.co.uk/

3. Install the Foursquare app on your smartphone.

4. 'Check In' on the App where ever you're going and click the 'Load to Card' option on the American Express Special listed.

5. Spend the required amount on your card.

You should get an email pretty quickly to confirm your spend and then see your credit statement appear, usually I've found within a few days, but they tend to say it can take weeks.

EDIT - No emails this time it seems, just alerts in the app.

Does MBNA Amex supported?

No, sorry.

EDIT - Since confirmed by andrewfarrell -
"Actually MBNA Amex cards are eligible for the offer. I synced mine last time around and had no problem redeeming previous offers. Terms here state that licensed third party-issued cards are fine."

mcdexta also confirms using an MBNA card previously.

What about Barclaycard Amex?

What about Barclaycard Amex?

Nope - just 'Amex Amex' as far as I'm aware. You could always try and Sync your card to your FourSquare account, but fairly certain it will fail - sync.americanexpress.co.uk/ Would you mind giving it ago and reporting back?

Was a Foursquare offer, or was it an Amex offer where you just enrolled your card? Was it this deal?

This is a very good deal. It has worked me before. Loaded Pizza Express, Argos & Primark

Also loaded Tesco. I have an additional card also. So it's 10 saver on spend of 20.

Are you able to load them now without physically being at the store? Any idea if there's any time limit on when you have to redeem them by?

Is this as much of a ball ache as it sounds? I can't see me being bothered to do that.

It's pretty simple to be honest. Plus, most steps are a one off. Several deals posted tonight to hopefully make it worth while and there should be others in the future.

Barclaycard Amex will work on all these. Had an email from Barclaycard informing me of these deals a few days ago.

Should work with the missus second card as well as she has set up her own foursquare account

App just says Connect my card, when entering number then says "already connected". There is no add to card option at all.
Give up, bloatware

You need to Sync your card on the Amex website, - sync.americanexpress.co.uk/

...not use the 'Connected Credit Cards and Savings' in the app or Foursquare site.
