These are protective cases I weighed on about a quid a piece for, and I had to buy them in batches of 100 to get em for that. Some sellers are charging about 3 or 4 quid each for them when bought in singles, Game ain't giving these away I can assure you

Apologies my mistake, Ive never ordered from them but I saw your prvious post and pressumed thats how they came

I had to bite and order both Metroid ones as it's sold out everywhere else... I hate having to order from Game when I know, full well, that they're taking advantage of the situation! Grrr and all that!

Save your hate for Nintendo who are creating the situation. Nintendo purposefully sit on stock and release it in stages to give the impression of scarcity.

That's quite alright, no apologies required never mind expected just don't give people false hope that Game might give them something as practical as these, though that said Game do always ship Amiibo in hard boxes rather than pony jiffy bags like some retailers do.

Well said, it definitely is Nintendo playing the going like hotcakes game with everything recent when it comes to Amiibo. Like ok when they first launched three years ago or whenever it was you could give them some margin for error on initial production numbers because from what I've read the figures were far more popular than anticipated. All said n done it must be stressed that since then they've been only too aware how big demand there is and especially would be for all Zelda related figures with the massive success of the Switch and the game.

Only have to look at how they hold back distribution and/or production numbers of the retro machines and the Switch itself to generate this 'when it's gone it's gone' climate. So unfortunately they will keep doing it because it's been a proven success time after time. It's out of order but whilst the punters swallow it they'll keep doing it, that's the business model they've been employing for years now

Game are charging a fair whack more on all new release Amiibo granted but in the case of these Metroid figures it's only a couple of quid more as I think they're £12.99 RRP rather than the usual £10.99 anyway. Is worth putting it out there that these two ain't that pricey at all considering they're sold out everywhere else already.

I ordered SSB Link from Nintendo Store last week after it seemingly being out of stock for months. I've wanted Epona for BOTW but had to wait. When I received it the manufacturing date was 2014 from the original production run. They've been sat in a warehouse or been redistributed from another region.

I got the OoT Link from them last week myself, no 30th Anniversary branding on it though which is a right pxxx take seeing the Zelda, toon and 8 bit Link's I got already all have it

Luckily I got all them other Zelda Amiibo from the BotW series including Epona in one batch from Argos pre ordered months before they came out. Some other dog walker I bump in to occasionally whilst taking Canine Loyal out for a hike even offered me a bulls eye for the Guardian one, never mind what I've seen it going for on eBay, but I just won't part with any I don't have duplicates of because you don't know if you'll ever get hold of them again for sensible money.

I had a spare SSB Link (first print) in an absolutely battered blister pack with the card sleeve all tattered n torn but even in such a state it still went for over 30 quid when I auctioned it on eBay a few months ago.
