29p in B&Ms

Someone behind me at the checkout in Home Bargains on Saturday was buying loads of these so Im assuming they must be very cheap there too. Didnt see the price. Anyone?

Home Bargain has a couple of brands in various flavours. Blue Dragon I think is 1 and same stuff, already cooked just requires heating. Some are flavoured, the actual noodle has chilli in and some are wholemeal. 39p 1 kind and I got some a few weeks ago for under 20p.

i got some of these from BM to try and OMG they are horrid! They are so greasy, since when did noodles need to be soaked in oil? Its as easy to cook them from dry, they are cheaper and taste better too...

good deal on the sainsburry price, because i dont have a home bargains store.

actually i dont even know whether theres one in the area:oops:?

tbh at 10p a pack they would not be worth it as stated earlier they are very greasy and taste rancid.

is it just me or do the noodles in the picture look like saggy balls

These noodle are absorutely wubbwee ..which is why i still have some in the cupboard from last time they were on bogoff. :?

these are grim......better off buying decent noodles from a chinese supermarket

Is there such a thing as unsanging balls?

Stop the sad supermarket deals.

I just get the cheap-0 tesco or morrissons own brand noodles @around 12p or less per pack... get 2 packs and throw away the "flavouring" and just soak them in some hot water for 5-10 mins while you're cooking the chicken etc etc then add to the wok just to stir-in for 2 mins to give them some of the flavours from that

Last time I bought and cooked this the noodles went straight from wok to the bin with a temporary taste in the mouth. This is an example of everse engineering, making what is an excellent product refined over the centuries into something unfit for human consumption.

well like erveryone else, the price is pretty decent but the actual product is ****... I would avoid these if you haven't tried them before....

Vile.

I disagree, i got the wholewheat ones in HB tried them last night and they were fine. Rinse them in hot water, then drain them, then put them into the stir fry and cook on high heat for a few mins.

they taste good actually. Fry meat, garlic, an egg, some pak choy in thick dark soya sauce. Choose the thick udon noodles - they taste great. My complaint is that it is not a big pack, I can eat one pack on my own...

I like them
They are doing stir fry sauces at special price as well
