Amstel bier 20x 300ml bottles @ Home bargains

25
LocalFound 7th Feb
1 carton (box) of 20 bottles of Amstel bier

I also believe Sainsbury's (just looked online) are doing 15 bottles for £8.00 which works out a penny or so cheaper/bottle.

Just Enjoy (please drink respectfully )....

What's that 55p a bottle

Just over 53p a bottle for Sainsbury's deal if you don't want to get to drunk
Foolishly bought this it’s pretty vile & flavourless - Amstel on draught is pretty dire in Netherlands (the Dutch drink it as a last resort) but this stuff, brewed under licence in uk is worse
^ it is horrible as continental lager goes. There's usually much nicer continental lager (German/Czech of various makes) in B&M or HB.
I don't know how common it is to add sugar to beer, but it seems like it shouldn't be there and this is low quality crap.

Ingredients: Water, Malted Barley, Sugar, Hops, Carbon Dioxide

I agree it's not the last word in great beer but then it is a lager. For me most lagers are dire. Just gassy bloated drinks.
Nethertheless for me it's drinkable.
£7 for 12 bottles in Asda.
I've said once, and i'll say it again.....taste is subjective, one man's drink... is another mans poison...
Heat OP...hopefully someone will benefit from this

This looks like it's added sugar though for taste. Could be wrong.
Good price on quantity for bottled beer that many prefer drinking from over cans. However, not to be confused with the original and genuine Amstel beer, this is just a cheap generic beer bottled under a known brand label. This is another example of rent a brand for genetic products to miss represent who really makes them and to use a known (livened,) brand to promote a product that bares no relation to the brand it displays.
People are saying this is poor but will go mad if fosters isn't on a deal at asda. Couldn't make it up.
£1.83 per lt so not a bad price. Bought some a while ago when on offer in Morrisons. Pretty tasteless, but most lager is. I guess taste is subjective but I won't be buying more.
If it's brewed under licence in the UK it'll be awful stuff,
Really awful stuff, and I'm not typically picky when it comes to lager.
Equates to £16.11p for 20 x 440ml, so not a great price indeed.

Totally agree. They re-branded this with a lot lower alcohol content. Unfortunately, doing that, made this tasteless-awfull beer imo. The original was/still is (in some countries) really nice.
As lagers go I like this, each to their own
Good price for a horrible lager. I may try some at this price - to see if I can get used to it.

Good price for a nice lager. Straight from the fridge of course.

Tesco often have this on offer 20 bottles for £10.00

80p for 1x 440ml can/bottle sounds good to me.
