sorry to be rude im doing one of my bulk "replying to message" sessions lol i only have a 3 day backlog as I did them in the week

Heat for the pic alone!

Normally about £80 a cabin for 2 or 4.

The boat is an experiences on a Friday and Saturday night. Good laugh. But interesting.

Also about £4-5 a pint.

The return trip is aloft quieter than the out going.

Friends have been recently and were shocked to discover they paid €143.20 for 10 cans of Heineken on board. No wonder dfds want to offer it cheaply to stag and hen dos. Unless it's a tee-total hen do, I'm afraid I have to vote cold. As a weekend break it's a decent deal if you drink very little.

me and my bf went on this and it cost €80 for 2 colas and 2 buffet meals!! also its €13 for a cocktail. breakfast was €20 each too. Price on board is a joke.

Tried hard pics

The thing is the ferry is cheaper than Amsterdam for drink !

How ever did they pay that for drinks? I go on this trip regularly as the North Shields DFDS terminal is just 2 miles away from where I live. When I last went in Feb all the draught pints were £3.70/€4.50, the cans are the same price or cheaper and the bottles of Kopparburg were around £4.10 each.

There is no way in the world it is €14 a can on board - you wouldn't pay that in Monte Carlo. Someone has been telling porkies.

You save about 30% on the meals by booking in advance. The meals are a little on the expensive side, the drinks are on a par with Amsterdam. When I go we have a nice meal somewhere before we get on board, and buy a Subway for the evening. We do the same in Amsterdam for coming home. I will usually get a breakfast on the outgoing trip. Currently £9.99 for the breakfasts and £21.99 for the evening buffet meal if you book in advance.

Cheaper on board to buy everything in Pounds rather than Euros, the exchange rate onboard is very much in the Pound's favour.

I have a photo of the receipt to upload of you need proof. Actually it was that price for 12 cans, so I told a slight mistruth, but that's my memory. I have been this route too and found good and drink to be extortionate - that's why I think it's a cold deal specifically for hen and stag parties. For a more sober break it's a good deal.

I have to give this heat as I work for the company aha good dealio!

Great price. Recently went the trip to amsterdam with dfds and the crossing over was terrible ! Good entertainment on ship. Expensive drinks around £8 euro for glass of wine and about 6 euro for a bottle of beer! Worth booking restaurant at the time of booking as it's more expensive to book when you arrive on ship! Not a lot of time in amsterdam so if you are able to do the hotel stay aswell then it's defo worth it. Heat added

I done the trip on a stag do and we took vodka on board in sprite bottles.

They do check for alcohol and confiscate it if caught.
