It is a bit short, but the ferry itself is good fun usually. Worth it at this price, although people should be aware the food onboard is a bit pricey.

It’s a good deal either way for the money
"Explore this incredible city at leisure with up to 5 hours in the Dutch capital"

I know someone who did this and ferry hit bad weather he got a grand total of 1 hour in Amsterdam...

Even if you get 5 hours that's still not enough time to do anything.

Is just a pure milk people on the ferry.. Why not do 5 days and let people book their own hotel for 3 days. Be a really cheap way to get to Amsterdam then.

If you price up just a trip on the ferry to Amsterdam its about £80 each at the cost of losing about 18 hours exploring time think id rather fly for £120 and be there in an hour.

Agree, but there is an option to go with an overnight stay in Amsterdam. Obviously you need to pay for the hotel in Amsterdam. Or just go to Rotterdam instead, I think is closer, you gain a couple of hours. I know there is an option to book the ferry in the following day for your return as we looked into this before.
With regards to the weather I agree. I've been once and all I did I came back completely soaked, nothing to enjoy. Worse, we had problems at border control, our passport were beyond recognition as they were wet.

Just seems dumb to me they have an opportunity to compete against flying and they don't... Literally no reason to take the ferry unless you're scared of flying or want to take your car.

Should be £50 return you pick the dates and they cash in on people buying stuff on the journey while on board. Instead they use tricks to mug people and give them nothing in return. They been doing this trick for years can't believe they haven't gone bust.

They have the rubber gloves on at border control to get back on the ferry to Blighty.
Wae'aye man!

I agree, I prefer to fly too. However, I've been once and I can tell you, lots of people actually want to party on the boat, some are not even bothered to get off the boat. Lots of them they only go for this sole purpose, to drink, gamble and party on the boat.

Do you get private rooms or do you have to share if you travel on your own
