Nuff Said

do you know the journey time ?which ferry port does it sail from ?

Read the screen grab!!

It's telling me £18 each so now you get the £1 each way

This is a ridiculous deal oO, heat added!

I can't seem to get this deal up, £20 odd each way - Would that be because they are sold out?

Have the pound seats gone I can't find any for that price now?

why pay £2 to spend 10 times the ammount of time getting there, it's a hour or less from most of the UK via plane

not for me, a whole 18 hours each way

Agreed, would pay £30-£40 to save the time and hassle. Almost everyone on a £2.00 ticket will need £8.90 x2 for train tickets into and from London

I've got a booking, HOT thanks!

Jeez pete that's a bit extreme

Are you sure it's not just because MegaBus always have cheap fares to random places in advance? Paris, for example is £5 around August. I thought this was the normal thing for the MegaBus site?

I'm with this man. The savings are just not worth it. Would sooner stay at home and do something locally instead. Or book a few months in advance and get return flights for £50 odd from an airport just down the road from where I live

is the bus full or drunks and druggies, plus a few sl*ppers

I get your point to be honest but if you are really up against it financially and want a break i'm sure that said person would forfeit time over money

And if you live in London then you don't have to pay for train tickets, I don't, but still fantastic prices!

I can't find any from Newcastle to anywhere anyone want to help me :))))

Only on hukd could you find people moan about a £2 return to Amsterdam. Hot and heat added.

bit of an adventure, i would quite fancy this in the coming months... IAmsterdam would be great to be in especially if Netherlands are playing in the World Cup... (its a deal that comes out every few months) but i certainly wouldnt recommend it in the Autumn / Winter...

(fade to flashback)...

I did it a few years ago in January, was ruddy horrible, i grabbed the back seat, unfortunatley the safety door seemed to have a massive draft so by the time i got to the ferry my thighs were sub zero... the wifi didnt work very well once the coach got out of London / picked up speed, the coach was full of students obviously drinking vodka and coke out of Coke bottles ( i heard a few "chucking up in the bogs" (sorry for the phrasing, but summed up the feel of the coach)...then we got to the ferry, and I think we may have been REALLY unlucky as I think it was a night of very stormy weather and previous ferries had been cancelled, so the ferry was chock a block, folk layed out on the floor, as not enough seating etc, full of students and stags and hens, and drunks... and the crossing was very choppy (and "chucky").... never seen anything like it really bad.

Then we eventually were back on the coach... and that 5 hours or so seems to go on forever... nice if you can get a sleep, but i couldnt as i had to keep rubbing my thighs to keep them warm... ;D

Then we were all dropped of in what seemed like some random point on the perimeter of Amsterdam. About 60 people trying to cram into a bus shelter fit for about 8 people... i was seriously concerned about some of the people i was travelling with, they looked like death, and i was shivering like i never had before. Basically had spent 10 hours or so freezing cold (except the ferry).

Remember to keep some change for the tram at the drop off point.

Eventually got to Mcds Amsterdam and had about 3 coffee and apple pies (1 euro deal) and an hour to warm up.

HOWEVER...

The coach itself was comfortable enough, i think we were just very unlucky that night, and as i prefaced i would recommend it for non cold seasons. If i took a cheap plane deal, say easyjet, you are looking at £80 minimum nowadays, and about £30 to get to Gatwick / Stanstead)

as long as its not full of hash

This deal is smoking so much that Dominos have just tweeted they are experiencing 'unprecedented demand at branches around the UK'.

What a great deal
