Anyone who hasn't seen this yet, you're in for a treat. It's hilarious. Also (please comment below if this is incorrect) but as far as I'm aware this is the complete box set, as there are no intentions to make a 3rd series.

"Join everyone's favourite reluctant traveller, Karl Pilkington as he is sent around the globe by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant.... Twice.

First off Karl is sent to the far reaches of our planet to witness the awe-inspiring 7 wonders of the world. Will he find them awe-inspiring or just awful.

In series 2 Karl is dispatched to explore the best things you can possibly do before you die.

Features every episode from both series of this smash hit show."

3rd Series is going to be Karl with Warwick Davies tagging along. Looks like it will be as good as the first two.
Syzable

Awesome news! Number 1 cos there's going to be a 3rd series and number 2 because Warwick Davis is involved!!
3rd 1 will only be a 2 part special though
huh ricky said there wasnt going to be a third as they couldnt live up to the last season - best thing ever though !
Has been cheaper from Play

I'm waiting until it's well under a tenner before I bite
i think i paid £12 from amazon

2 things funnier in life
ricvky gervais show animated and the original podcasts are still the funniest stuff i have ever heard in my life.

man----moth??????
Spiderman at a funeral.
Didn't enjoy how staged this was, otherwise this would have been much funnier.
brilliant show. As with all humour though - some people like and others dont.
Good deal for both series on Blu Ray, so voted hot.

For anyone with Sky Anytime+ (via your actual Sky box as opposed to via your PC) both series are currently available for free download in the boxsets section. SD only though, sadly.
anyone who already has it ..are there any extra features etc
"Despite saying that there will not be a third series Gervais will produce a Christmas special which was originally supposed to star Pilkington and Warwick Davis travel round England on a bike together, this is what Pilkington agreed to return for. It has now been put into 2 parts, and he has tricked Pilkington once again as it will now feature them abroad on a bike. As of February 2012 pre-production has started with Pilkington and Warwick. Gervais has said "We started planning the route for An Idiot Abroad 3: The Short Way Round, this week. It's only a two-part special but we've decided to make it a bit more global as opposed to "around Kent for a few days, Pilkington is starting to regret it already."

You are on the money on this opinion. I thought it was far too contrived to be funny.
great price, cheapest its ever been I think. Well worth watching - if you enjoyed the podcasts then this is definitely up your street
I enjoyed the first season but we got fed up with him moaning and gave up on the second season. We just felt that he was lucky to see all those wonders of the world and do all of those interesting things. In the second series it just gave the impression that he was moaning for moanings sake just to try and be entertaining. The moaning just seemed false and ungrateful.
Absolutly love it. Iv got both series on dvd and its the funniest thing iv seen in a long time.

Staged or not you just have to put that aside and just enjoy it for what it is. It's pretty unique in it's own way that you don't get dry humour like Karls everyday on your tv.These days It's stand up this, Stand up that.... Blah blah seen it all before, Heard the jokes NEXT!

Btw Heat!
@ janner

Couldn't agree more ... initially the moaning was hilarious. But then it was just "you ungrateful b*st*rd" I would die to do the things he's doing and yet he's moaning for the sake of it.
Personally I loved both series ( maybe 1st a little bit more than 2nd ) but still hilarious ! Really want to buy this... Oh sod it I will, thanks Op
Thanks, just ordered.
Finally priced matched by Amazon
