Anchor Butter £1 in Asda

Found 17th Apr 2012
Seen the offer on this site but for Tesco, went there and the shelves were empty. So went down the road to Asda to find the same deal but with lots of stock.

Seems expensive for butter thought it was around 50p
Shows how often i go shopping
Few years ago the cheep stuff was 58p.
good price, excellent quality, but unfortunately for some reason they don't sell it in Northern Ireland anymore. My partner buys it when going to Scotland, then we freeze it here, this is how much we like it over other brands. Bargain price for those who can buy it, so voted hot

And I can remember when spelt ( yes, spelled "spelt") was "a wheat, Triticum aestivum spelta, native to southern Europe and western Asia, used chiefly for livestock feed".
That's amazing, I never go to my local ASDA for special offers, they are always out of stock, whereas Tesco are out of stock about two thirds of the time. Which part of the country do you live where ASDA's stock control is better than Tesco's (not that Tesco's is anything to write home about).
Lydon will love this deal!

OMG, was the last time you did the shopping in 1975?
Having fallen out bigtime with my big Tesco supermarket I am only too pleased to get it from Asda.
Heat!
or of course if you're a heavy user get £20 worth in sainsburys (13 @ 1.60) or include in your shop and get the price difference voucher to use on your next purchase. With lurpak last time Tescos stated a limit per customer, I just went self checkouts
These days I don't even bother going to Tesco for a deal as they are guaranteed not to have it here in Oxford. ASDA are always much better at stocking up on products that are on offer around here. ASDA gets my vote by a long way.
Cheers OP Tesco offer OOS as Usual. Need to go to ASDA so will grab some

Oh here we go!

Again.

Don't say anything that can remotely be seen as racist, unless its to do down ****s.

Saw some guy pick up a whole box of these earlier - 40 in a box! Is it really that nice!?
Thanks for posting, I never seem to be able to get hold of this when its on offer. It's the only butter we like and I've tried loads in my opinion you just can't beat anchor butter for taste, although their spread is almost unspreadable! Use flora buttery instead.
4>30 pm in Asda Pembroke Dock and the shelf edge still says £1.40.

Tut !
I do believe that although Collectorcol IS american, he DOES have a sense of humour "or humor".
Do keep up.
Went in today at around 8, still on offer and enough stock.
picked up a few just now, noticed the date is quiet short (i.e 5 weeks)
Just picked up 6 at Asda Leyton mills, they had loads left in stock. They also had 500g flora buttery for £1, if its of any use to somebody would post it but the phone app doesn't give me the option to post deals!
Just picked up 15 from Asda Northants... I cleared the shelf!
