Really surprised to see this getting such good reviews, I bought one and found it to be absolutely awful - it cut unevenly, mangled bacon when trying to slice it and was a pain to clean (to be fair I guess any type of slicer is going to be a pain to clean).

I've got this model, you won't get a better one for the price but it is a awkward to clean.

Have to agree with some of the above comments, it seems like a great idea but a real pain to clean for a few slices of something.
