Andrew James Ice Cream maker@The Works £14.99 with code, £27.90@Amazon, 260 five star reviews there. Noticed an ad there saying "ice cream maker £14.99". Wasn't expecting much but clicked it to look, was surprised to find it was the same machine as Amazon were selling for£27.90 for £14.99 delivered at The Works using the code "FSDMAR" for free delivery (thanks to juspsychojo for the code)
This is not an automatic ice cream maker, this is the type where you have to freeze a bowl first. I've never had one but at this price I'm willing to try it.
Here is the Amazon link for anyone who wants to have a look at the reviews before ordering one- amazon.co.uk/pro…s=1

Hahah can you not take one back? I know it's hard, been there not with ice cream makers though had to persuade myself I don't need a smoothie maker as well as a 'smoothie maker to go' :p.

Thanks for the video review link, didn't notice that

Cost of the ingredients and all the bother doesn't seem to make it worthwhile, especially when you can buy Magnums for < 40pence

You could say that about anything- why make bread when Mothers Pride is 80p?
Why make cakes when Mr Kipling cakes are a quid a pack?
Why buy fresh fish when Young's sell oven ready fish cheap.

Some people cook because they enjoy doing so. Plus you can come up with your own unique flavours with an ice cream maker. I was looking at a recipe for coconut & Baileys yesterday- do Walls sell that one?

Brilliant.

This will fit nicely at the back of my kitchen cupboard next to the slow cooker and Breville sandwich toaster.

Thanks OP, gone for this, thanks.

Milk, double cream and sugar are the basics.

Vanilla essence, mint, chocolate, Oreos, banana ..... Add your own flavours. Taste better than store bought ice cream, plus no artificial stuff added.

Thanks OP, ordered it for
£13.49 stacking MARCH10 and FSDMAR.

It should be good to use with my little one when she is older. Just realised I've ordered without checking if the bowl fits in my freezer or not!!

Apart from Oreos...

Thanks, almost bought this before at full price. At 13.49 delivered it's an absolute bargain. Got both codes to stack, many thanks OP.

84p tracked @ TCB

Ordered, thank you for the post.

15% off with this code EGG15

You can get another 15% off using EGG15

Just like applying the others, you can apply 3....

brings it down to £12.74

after 8.08% cashback this is £11.71

made some strawberry ice cream with this absolutely stuffed with flavour. nothing like your normal supermarket stuff. only trouble is when making small quantities about 20% is stuck to the cooler bowl.

Check for space at back of kitchen cupboard before purchase.

Can only stack two code (15% and free delivery)
It ignores the third code (10%), even though it appears on checkout.

Quite right!

I was looking at the price and thinking the difference seemed less that I expected, still when its £12 I didn't want to ask too many questions

Codes aren't stacking for me. I can't use more than 1 code??

not recommending this, but told my sister about this machine & she sad she's been using an angel delight ice cream packet mix she buys from Sainsburys for 75p. Just enter "Angel Delight" here if interested- sainsburys.co.uk/gro…jsp Sorry, couldn't get a direct link to work. Don't fancy this myself, what's the point in buying an ice cream maker & using something like that?
