I'm always suspicious when someone registers then immediately posts a deal. Particularly if it's for a company I've never heard of.

I run some forums and doing this is always the sign of a spammer so I ban them immediately.

Excuse me
It is a bona fide brand. Some people see deals & register to post them.

I also administer forums - less cynically though I think

I've used HUKD every now and then for a while now. I just thought I would sign up to post this deal recently. Lol

I was just stating what my experience has shown me.

I've been running forums since 1999, including some very popular ones, and 99% of the people who post a link to something in their first post are only there to get free advertising, rather than to be part of the community. As a result of this experience I made it clear in as part of the registration process that anyone who posts a link immediately after registering will be banned, but that hasn't stopped them.
