I mentioned this one in a deal posted yesterday as it appears to be the cheapest ever UK price for an S912 based TV box.

The improved GPU and 2GB RAM make it worth the upgrade over the cheaper boxes.

If you're going to tinker, then the S905 boxes with 2GB RAM are still a better option at a similar or slightly lower price, but this spec is pretty much the best out of the box experience you will get for what is still a low cost box.

decanay i saw your comments in the 19.99 box posted which has just made heat.heat for this because alough i dont know very much about the specs of this box.you sure do heat added

Yes good price I think. I don't know much about these things either.
Do you think it will come loaded with Kodi and Exodus or will you have to mess around with it?

I think it was worth posting as a deal as most people will miss it otherwise. It's ironic that the worst option posted is the deal that goes hottest (the Rockchip box).

IMO the S905 box posted at £19.99 is the best deal. Tis one - http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/android-tv-box-hi-box-h1-uhd-s905x-android-6-0-1gb-ram-incl-remote-19-99-prime-23-2618549?p=30046214

But, for the average user that will stick with Android and want a bit of versatility aside from Kodi, playing games etc.. The improved spec here is worth paying for.

Does this box support dlna as I get the best playback using it ( no stutters like with chromecast) ? And I'd also use the USB to play back my media files so I'm hoping that will be good also

Haven't received yet so can't say for sure. I expect it'll have Kodi pre-installed but not "fully loaded". You'll probably need to install the addons you want to use.

i agree decanay it is ironic but i think its purely down to pricing.i think the specs go out of the window people want cheap cheap cheap and they will sacrifice quality for it.

This a decent box then?

Been looking for a box but haven't gone for any yet. Still using the Firestick but I find that it really lags or is slow at loading if you leave it in sleep mode over night.

Sorry for being thick, but can you cast to this box with an android phone or do i need to buy a chromecast?

Thanks for any help.

Look up "retromania" on YouTube or fb, best build for kodi, also retrobox, free gaming build, add your own roms, play all the old console games... Brilliant!

For me, I use dlna, if your TV is connected to your router and is dlna compliant then an app like "local cast" from Google store casts files perfectly from your phone to TV, and no stutters that's why I asked earlier! Your TV will also pick up your PC and its files through its smart menu though " media share" on your PC will have to be turned on

Best boxes to get at the moment are the Beelink GT1 or Alfawise S92 and then flash this custom firmware on them:

If it has the 9377 WiFi chip then this is easily the best option by a country mile.

If it's an A912 box then use this one instead, which is a fork of the original and then add the dedicated kernel produced by the original dev to give all the same funtionality.
