  • Android One operating system
  • The best of Android software
  • Google Assistant at your service
Setting the tone Just like last year’s edition, the 2018 Nokia 6 is crafted out of a single block of aluminium. But now, all of the diamond-cut edges have been anodised in a different colour tone. Resulting in the phone having this cool shimmery effect when it catches the light.
Rich display Whether you’re having a browse or catching up on your new Netflix obsession, the sharp 5.5-inch LCD screen will make everything look crisp and clear.

Pretty good for £100.... All the general stuff you'd want from a phone imo

76p more expensive! hotukdeals.com/dea…974

Worse battery but does have NFC. Not sure how the other specs compare. Camera on this might be better.

Let's face it. Either of these phones are incredible for £100. The Samsung J3 second hand is over that price. That's always my comparison
Seems to offer all I need! Ordered one to try, cheers OP

Took me 10 minutes to swap the ROM over to an android one on the Xiaomi phones. Dead easy

Did you have to root to do that

You email Xiaomi to unlock the bootloader and within 48 hours it's unlocked. Plain sailing from there
Wow, didn’t know you could do that. Do banking apps, Sky Go etc still work? And what happens with future updates/upgrades?

Except MiA2 / MI A2 Lite and this are the same - both are Android One phones, so stock Android with support for at least 3 years from introduction
Got my wife one of these last year when they first came out. She hasn’t managed to break it yet or complain of massive slow downs after a few months unlike every other phone she has had.
A+ from me.
Great deal and all for 15% of the previous I Phone 11. No brainer.
Can I ask is this 10 pound a month?
Or can you buy it and put in a sim only?
Thanks
Thanks @tyr we have added this to the Highlights section

Banking and other apps work if you use magisk hide (just Google to learn more about it) you can just flash future updates over and they will come quicker than official updates

Do you guys know if this is Dual SIM?

The Nokia N95 8GB was, actually. :-D

I had both, and to be honest with you, the N95 8GB was superintendent in many a ways over that of it's former counterpart ...

But both were decent enough phone's nonetheless though. :-)
Nice deal, I am an Android One superfan.

Looks like it has the headphone socket and FM Radio too.

Any Quidco or TCB ?

Is this a 6.1 model? CPW website has 6.0 all over it.
Title also says says this is unlocked, when purchasing you have a choice of three network options with the £10 top up. Will it not be locked to one of these or are they unlocked out of the box
I think it's still known as the Nokia 6 but will have 6.1 as model number on the box.
All of the phones are sim free as far as i know from CPW.
Going in town later so will confirm then.

Quote from the Techradar review...

""Before we get into whether it’s worth the extra spend, it’s worth mentioning that there’s some confusion around the name of this phone. The company itself calls it ‘the new Nokia 6’ in some places, and ‘Nokia 6.1’ in others, including on the box.""
Had a lot of these back with boot loader faults.Wouldnt advise buying one to be fair but I'll wait for the comments on people who know better to flow in.
Apologies for changing subject but does anyone know why the Nokia 7.1 is out of stock at the cheaper websites?
I’m after the 4GB version.
It was recently on Eglobal and Tobys deals for £188
